Welcome to this guided meditation to help you sleep better.
I will be your guide.
And my name is Roland.
Before we begin this guided meditation,
It is important that we set an intention.
Let the intention answer the question,
Who will I be if I am well rested?
How will I show up in the world if I am well rested?
Go ahead and set your intention at this time.
And now take a deep breath in and exhale and get comfortable wherever you are,
Either sitting or laying down.
Take a slightly longer inhale than you normally do.
And on your exhale allow the muscles in your face to relax.
Inhale again and on your exhale allow the muscles around your neck and shoulders to relax.
Inhale and exhale allowing your eyeballs to relax underneath your eyelids.
You may begin to feel other parts of your body relax themselves.
Simply allow this to happen.
Inhale and on your next exhale allow your stomach and back muscles to relax.
Inhale again and on your exhale allow your back muscles to relax.
Inhale again and on your next exhale allow your thighs and your glutes to relax.
Let go of any tension in this part of your body.
Inhale again and as you exhale allow your feet and your toes to relax.
Let go of any tension in your feet and your toes.
At this time allow your entire body to readjust itself so that it may get into a more comfortable position as you prepare for a restful and full night of sleep.
Let go of any tension in this part of your body.
Inhale again and exhale ever so gently.
And now your body is ready to get even more relaxed.
And it knows to do so by listening to my counting.
And as I count to five your body will get a thousand times more relaxed.
Beginning now.
And on your body from your head to your toes is a thousand times more relaxed.
Two.
And now your body is one thousand times even more relaxed.
Three.
And now every single cell in your body is a thousand times even more relaxed.
Four.
Your mind is a thousand times more relaxed.
Your breathing is a thousand times more relaxed.
Your body is a thousand times more relaxed.
And five.
Now you are in the deepest state of relaxation.
You are ready for the most restful night you have ever had.
