Hello my friend.

Welcome to this guided meditation in which you will focus on being grateful.

This meditation will take advantage of your ability to imagine and feel.

Gratitude is a great way to start your day.

It shows that you are thankful and appreciative of what you have received so far in your life.

This includes your possessions,

Your relationships,

And this brand new day in which you can continue striving to be the best version of yourself.

When you express gratitude,

You are happier.

It helps you develop a strong mental mind and a healthy physical body.

When you express gratitude,

You learn to focus on how your experiences teach you and help you grow as a person.

This does not only apply to positive experiences that you have.

As you well know,

Your challenging experiences also help you define yourself.

It is a little more challenging,

Yes,

But making it a habit to express gratitude for the tougher experiences you have is an excellent way to quickly overcome and learn from the experiences.

When you are grateful,

You acknowledge the people in your life.

Your professional and personal relationships not only help you succeed,

But they also help you define yourself.

When you are grateful,

You are less likely to take your relationships for granted.

When you are grateful,

You activate parts of your brain associated with positive emotions and happiness.

You decrease activity in the areas of your brain associated with negative emotions.

Now it's time to prepare for this gratitude meditation by setting an intention.

For this meditation,

I suggest your intention be for you to easily find reasons to be grateful for your possessions,

Experiences,

And relationships.

At this time,

Get comfortable in your chair or wherever you are.

Take a deep breath and exhale to center yourself and prepare your mind for this gratitude meditation.

Allow your breathing to guide you into a state of ever-increasing calm and serenity.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your jaws.

Place your feet flat on the floor.

Allow your hands to gently rest on your thighs.

And gently close your eyes.

Now imagine you are standing on top of a cloud.

Below you is a rainbow-colored slide.

The slide goes on forever and you are not able to see its end.

On top of the cloud,

There is nowhere else for you to go except down the slide.

You breathe deeply to calm yourself and realize the rainbow-colored slide represents feelings of gratitude for all your experiences,

Whether good or bad.

So you jump onto the slide and begin to slide down slowly.

As you slide down ever so gently,

Memories of your possessions,

Experiences,

And relationships pop up all around you in white-filled clouds.

You acknowledge them and express gratitude for each of them.

You express how each of them helped you become who you are.

You can do this with a simple head nod and a smile.

As you do this,

You notice you are moving faster down the slide.

You are now having more fun and feeling more relaxed about the experience.

You decide to turn to slide on your stomach.

You begin to roll to your left and your right.

You decide to put your hands up in the air.

You lift your right foot and left foot up in the air also.

You are feeling so grateful you can stand up while sliding down your rainbow-colored slide of gratitude.

Your vibration changes,

Causing your breathing to increase as you continue to express gratitude for who you have become and all the experiences that help you get to this place.

Continue sliding down your rainbow-colored slide and enjoying this feeling for the next couple of moments.

You are now feeling more relaxed and relaxed.

You are now feeling more relaxed and relaxed.

You now see a golden river begin to appear at the foot of your rainbow slide.

As you get closer,

You prepare to jump into the river.

When you jump into the golden river,

You know it is time for you to return to your physical body.

You are now aware of who you have become and why.

And you feel eternally grateful for how your possessions,

Experiences,

And relationships support you.

You inhale deeply and begin to roll your shoulders backwards.

You now bring your attention to your heart center and then slowly open your eyes.

You notice something in front of you that you are grateful for.

You acknowledge the thing and express gratitude.

And then you decide to go about your day being grateful for everything that appears in front of you.

As well as everything that you become aware of.

I thank you for going on this journey with me my friend.

Expect your day to be exactly what you need to grow.
