Hello.

Joining you from my backyard.

We live in this gorgeous canyon and it's so delightful out here right now.

I just wanted to take a few moments to connect,

Offer a little practice support.

So I've today been really reminding myself that all of this that's unfolding is a process.

We can get so caught up in wanting to figure out when it's going to be over,

What will happen next,

Or what to plan for.

And I know for myself I've been forgetting I can be right here right now and really take the time to appreciate where I am,

What's arising in this moment,

And how to really appreciate,

Deepen,

And connect into what's truly here now.

So I wanted to offer a little support around that practice with you.

So I just invite you to find a moment to pause whatever you're doing,

Whatever the doing is.

And to begin to let yourself take this opportunity to practice if you can get outside.

Such a good idea.

Enjoy where you are being connected to nature.

And then we'll invite ourselves in this moment to begin to turn the attention inward.

If you want to close the eyes,

You can choose that or find a gaze point.

And as you settle inwardly,

Allowing yourself to just meet the conditions inwardly that might be here with you as you begin to connect.

The mind is busy,

Pulled in the to-do listing.

If the heart is feeling contracted or pulled tight,

Any emotional content that might be here.

And then also feeling how your body is.

Are you rested,

Are you relaxed,

Are you tired,

Are you tense?

And as you find whatever these inner conditions are right now,

Can you meet them with kindness,

With grace,

With regard,

Knowing this is what's here right now.

It's part of the process of this moment of what's unfolding.

No need to push it away.

No need to figure it out.

And then now I invite you to just begin to simply connect to your breath.

Feel the breath coming in,

Feel the breath leaving.

As you attend to this moment of the breath,

Can you let yourself be open to really just feeling all the qualities and the truth of exactly how it is in this moment,

Breathing in this body.

Feeling your attention being able to hold and be present to whatever it is that's here,

Anchoring and just feeling the movements of your breath.

If you find yourself leaning forward into what's gonna happen next,

Notice that and then drop the need to be anywhere other than here.

Feeling your breath in your body.

If you feel yourself leaning back,

Rehearsing or remembering what's already passed,

We're not there either.

Let go of that and rest back into this moment here now.

I invite you to include as you attend to the breath in the body wherever you are,

The space that you're in now,

Your home,

Your outdoor space,

The community you're connected to,

Or the sense of the place in which your body resides now,

Feeling and letting yourself be present to how that's here with you too in this moment.

Now we can always rely on nature,

We can rely on this beautiful gift of aliveness that's around us to always help us be here,

Remind us to be present with what's truly here now.

So maybe feeling and sensing into the sounds,

The smells,

The sights,

The things that are being touched.

By the way,

Your body's receiving this environment.

Allowing yourself to feel the awareness of breathing present in this body,

Present with exactly where you are in this moment.

All of the containers and the sense of what's around you here to support you being here.

So as we arrive to the end of this practice,

I invite you to just feel into the effects of having taken this time to connect to just being here,

Here,

Here,

And allowing yourself to feel what that's like in the inner landscape.

As we close,

A reminder that we're all in this here in this moment together,

Maybe taking solace or comfort and remembering that too.

Appreciating that sense of interconnection.

Be well,

Be safe,

And take care till we see each other again.
