Once upon a time,
On a little farm just outside of town,
Lived Lucy,
The sweetest and silliest goose around.
Ever since Lucy was just a little gosling,
She'd waddle with flair,
Making jokes,
Pulling pranks,
And brightening the air.
She wore a big floppy hat that she called a crown,
And boots four sizes too big that made her fall down.
She would dye her feathers with berries,
Blue,
Purple,
And red,
From the tip of her tail to the top of her head.
The other farm animals loved her cheer.
Her antics brought joy to the farm all year.
One sunny morning,
While Farmer Joe was away,
Lucy had a wild and wacky idea to display.
We should have a farm parade,
She squawked with glee.
Let's dance and sing for the whole farm to see.
The geese honked like trumpets,
The cows clanged their bells,
The roosters crowed loud,
And the hens tapped on eggshells.
The horses wore boas with daisies in their hair.
The pigs painted themselves with polka dots and rolled around with gusto and flair.
The sheep wore tutus and did a little dance,
While Lucy led the parade proudly with an elegant stance.
Lucy twirled and she marched,
Making beats on a pot.
She used carrots as drumsticks and laughed a lot.
After the parade,
Lucy hosted a feast in the barn,
With confetti balloons and tons of yarn.
She served malt balls with spaghetti,
Her favorite dish,
With sweet potato and turnip pie with marshmallow fish.
There were sandwiches of crunchy peanut butter and collard greens,
Served with a side of rice and jelly beans.
And as the stars shined brightly in the dark night sky,
The farm animals gave a cheer with a joyful cry.
To Lucy the goose,
Our queen of the farm,
Who transformed an ordinary day with her magical charm.
