Where is My Mind?
By R.
M.
Bodhi Is it here?
Is it there?
I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I've searched and searched,
But I can't seem to find.
No matter where I look,
I can't find my mind.
I can see my body,
And I'm aware of the organs inside,
But I just can't understand where exactly does my mind reside.
Is my mind a physical thing somewhere inside my head?
Perhaps it fell out when I was sleeping in bed.
Is my mind an energy that follows me around,
Like a cloud above my head?
Is that where it's found?
Is my mind like a signal I need to turn on to see?
Does it need to be tuned into,
Like a radio or TV?
Is my mind in some supercomputer in deep space?
Do thoughts download to my brain at the speed of light's pace?
Perhaps my mind is something more than just an object worth seeing.
I'm beginning to believe my mind makes up my entire being.
That's it.
I think I have a solution.
My mind has been here all along,
Offering questions as contribution.
So in the end,
I have found my mind.
It was never actually lost to begin.
All I had to do was slow down and look within.
So whenever you were feeling lost or scared,
Take a moment to sit in silence,
And all will be repaired.
Thank you for listening to Where Is My Mind?
I hope you heard something valuable and new.
May you use your creative mind to find solutions in all that you do.
