
Overcoming The Fear Of Failure
Can you imagine living a life without a Fear of Failure, a life without that fear of things 'always' going wrong? A life where you're confident enough to take chances, seize opportunities and enjoy adventures. I invite you to join me in this confidence building thought journey. After relaxing your body and mind, we'll enhance self-esteem, increase confidence and remind you of just how truly amazing you are. Motivate your mind with these successful thoughts.

I want you to close your eyes down now,
Just close your eyes down and remember that for the next few minutes nothing else matters.
For the next few minutes nothing else matters except relaxing,
Listening to my voice.
The words that I suggest,
Absorbing the information,
Allowing nothing to disturb you or bother you or even interest you.
No outside sounds that arrive will trouble you,
People talking,
Shuffling,
Doors closing,
Phones ringing,
Nothing.
At times you may not even notice the sensation of clothing on your skin or the weight of your body as you relax.
Absolutely nothing around to disturb you now.
All of these things are just outside things,
They don't matter.
They don't affect you and so you can completely ignore them in this moment.
There is nothing to worry about,
Nothing to bother about,
Nowhere to go,
No one to satisfy,
No one to please.
You can just relax completely,
Calmly and safely.
And as you relax you can begin to let every part of you go limp and loose.
Feel every one of those muscles,
Every single one of them relaxing,
Relaxing completely.
And as you relax you can feel any areas of tension beginning to soften,
Starting to leave,
To drain away.
All of that tension of the last few weeks or days,
Any troubles,
Any problems,
Any challenges,
Any conversations,
Any inner negativity,
Let it recede.
Let all of those things drift away,
Blowing them out in each breath you breathe out and replacing it by breathing in relaxation.
Feel the tension drift away,
Feel any tightness and tension draining away from you,
Just drifting and draining away.
That's good.
For a long time now you've experienced a certain reluctance to embark upon new projects or try to do things that you feel are a little outside of your comfort zone.
Or perhaps you do actually participate but are somehow constantly held back by a conviction,
A thought in the back of your mind that you're not good enough in many of the things you might attempt.
This feeling,
This thought,
It's been preventing you from enjoying,
From striving towards achieving your goals.
And even when you do succeed it's as though you really didn't expect it to work out,
Perhaps even thinking that it was just a fluke and then dismissing the victory.
Very soon,
Very soon you're going to surprise yourself by changing the way you think and the way you feel about failure.
Instead of doubting your own ability you will approach everything you do with a feeling of confidence,
With an expectation that you can and will succeed because you deserve to succeed in all that you do.
As babies we're born into this world.
We each took our first breath,
Exercised our lungs,
Each one of us gave that first heart-melting smile.
And those of us fortunate enough to be physically able,
We learned how to crawl.
We took our first steps,
Eventually we walked.
We each learned to talk,
Later,
To run,
To dance,
To sing.
There was no limit to what we could do,
We didn't worry about failing.
We just did whatever we intended to do,
Determined to succeed,
Even if it meant practicing for a while.
Until the conscious mind became an unconscious reaction.
We just learned as we went along.
Of course there were a few little accidents along the way,
Which soon became less and less as we mastered our goals.
And it's because you're a human being,
Just like the rest of the race,
That you have the same capabilities and potential as anyone else.
However,
When someone's confidence has been knocked out of them,
They may need reminding that they're just as capable,
Or even more so,
As anyone else.
Now there could be a number of reasons why you didn't believe in your ability to succeed.
Perhaps in your formative years you were chastised or embarrassed in some way whenever you made a mistake or made an effort.
Maybe you were often expected to do everything perfectly first time,
Or it simply wasn't good enough.
Parents,
Teachers,
Other adults often want the best for their charge and they sometimes overlook the fact that those little people are young.
They often need time to learn.
Perhaps you felt that expectations were too high,
Whether those expectations were by any of all those already mentioned people or siblings or peers.
Eventually you believed you would fail,
Weren't good enough,
And this resulted in you worrying about even trying new things.
Now of course I don't know exactly what happened to you,
But your subconscious mind does.
Your subconscious mind knows everything there is to know about you,
And it's now decided that it's time to let go,
To let go of self-doubt and that fear of failure,
Which is why you're listening to me now.
It's true to say that at some stage in life you were negatively hypnotized.
That's right,
You accepted negative suggestions.
So,
As you've already proven that you can accept negative suggestions,
Then it stands to reason that you can also accept positive ones.
You just need to reprogram your mind for success.
Yes,
That's right,
For success,
Because deep deep down you know that you can succeed in almost anything you undertake.
And of course if by any remote chance you don't do quite as well as you'd hoped,
Then it doesn't matter,
Because there's always a next time.
Just like that little baby who,
Taking one of those first unaided steps,
Falls down onto its bottom,
But then it pulls itself up,
It tries again,
And just like that baby you now expect to succeed,
And you will.
You are an amazing,
Unique human being.
You were born with an intuitive sense of adventure,
Curiosity,
And right now you're claiming back what is rightfully yours.
The right to explore new ideas,
To try new things,
To discover what is right for you and what isn't.
And when something isn't the right thing for you it doesn't matter,
Because you tried,
You had a go,
You expanded your horizons,
You know that if this is something important to you,
You will carry on,
You will try again,
Because you don't even think of failing anymore soon.
It won't even cross your mind.
From now on you have new keywords in your mind,
A new blueprint for success.
Tell yourself every single day,
I can do it,
I can do whatever I set my mind to,
I can do it.
Soon after hearing this,
Perhaps in an hour or some moments over the next couple of days,
But soon after hearing this I want you to write those four short words down,
Write them down,
Send a text to yourself,
Write them on the back of a business card or a scrap of paper.
The words I can do it,
I can do it.
Carry these words around with you,
On your person,
On your phone,
In a bag,
In the car,
Carry them with you,
Carry them around in your head,
I can do it.
I can do whatever I set my mind to,
The words I can do it become your keywords for a post hypnotic conditioned response.
You know that you can do it,
I know that you can do it,
You can do anything that you set your mind to if it's humanly possible and safe to do so,
I can do it without any fear of failure,
Without feelings of doing anything wrong or doubts about your own ability,
You're kind to yourself.
If you make a mistake that's fine,
It's in no way a failure,
It's feedback and that's how we learn from feedback,
You can forgive yourself easily because there's nothing to forgive,
You're trying again and trying again and that is courageous.
Remember it's not always reaching the destination that counts,
It's not always reaching that destination that counts but it's also about enjoying the journey on its way,
Appreciating the journey in the moment and of course it's fun to try out new things,
That's how we grow and you know that you can succeed in whatever you really want to succeed at.
You have the ability,
You have plenty of ability so use it,
Believe in yourself wholeheartedly because you know that you can do it,
So you do.
From this moment forward you find yourself beginning to think differently about attempting new ventures,
If you really want to do something,
Do it,
Just do it,
As long as it doesn't involve harming someone or something else or yourself then it doesn't matter,
You have a perfect right to express your own ideas,
To attempt new things,
Whether you succeed or not,
You're happy because you had a go,
You took action,
You took the first step and that makes you feel good,
You feel proud of yourself for overcoming that old hesitant fear of failure and from now on you can expect to succeed and of course because you expect to succeed you often do and this reinforces that confidence in your own ability and now as that confidence increases you find yourself becoming far more relaxed in situations that would have previously wound you up.
You approach tasks with an enthusiasm and an expectation to grow,
To progress,
To succeed and this delights you and all those around you who knew how you used to feel,
So you'll continue to allow the release of the negative past version of yourself safely and quietly,
The release of all the old negative responses will process gradually in the background for you.
So right now it's time to get ready to return to the here and now and bring these suggestions with you and lock them down deep inside your creative mind.
Get ready to return to here and now,
This moment,
The present,
Where in a moment you'll become wide awake,
Alert,
Feeling great inside,
Perhaps even better than you've done for a long long time,
Feeling excited and energized about your adventure ahead.
So here we go as I count back down to one and you can open those eyes on one,
Here we go starting with five,
Slowly becoming aware of the sensations returning within you,
Four,
Feeling that energy beginning to pulse its way through your body,
Three from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of those toes just feeling good inside and waking a little bit more,
Two breathing in refreshing energy filling up that entire body and one wide awake eyes open take a nice deep breath have a stretch if you want.

I have marked this meditation 5 stars over 3 month ago because it simply made me feel good and ignited a hopeful spark. I did not leave a review until today because I wanted to see if there might be change. So after 3 month listening to this every other day, it has truly impacted and changed my subconscious negative programming. I’m 44 and somehow it didn’t happen before this meditation cause it was deeply ingrained by a narcissistic father since childhood. I am learning and applying 4 new skills that I never had the courage or mindset to even give it a go. I feel equally deserving and as smart as the rest of the world. This meditation has become my all time favorite so far because it had/has the biggest impact on my life. I feel free, happy, relaxed and confident. Thank you so so much. 💝🌺🌸🧘♂️🤸♀️🙏
