Welcome to day one of Mental Floss.
Today is all about relaxation.
So I'd like you to find a place now,
Take a moment to sit,
Recline or lie down.
When you're safe and sound,
Have a shuffle around and then allow yourself to take a few long slow deep breaths and comfortably close your eyes down.
Really begin to breathe that air into your lungs and then allow yourself to exhale any negativity,
Any stress,
Any tension.
And whether you pay attention to your breathing or not,
You can't help but breathe because your unconscious mind looks after you and is aware at all times.
It understands everything you need to get the outcomes that you want immediately or a little more each day and at a speed that's right for you.
Now this is a simple guided relaxation.
It's a bit like daydreaming where relaxation happens a little more with each moment as you begin to feel more and more comfortable.
In relaxation you'll still have awareness,
You'll still hear every word I say and yet there will be changes with no effort to remember everything as you just find yourself comfortable.
And whether you listen or not,
As you make yourself even more comfortable now,
Isn't as important as the results that you start to notice as you continue now and however far you go,
My voice is with you as you just let go and allow your breathing to deepen.
Breathing in and receiving energy.
Breathing out,
Sending out love and energy.
Becoming absorbed in the details of your sensations as you breathe in and receive abundance and energy.
Breathe out and send out calmness and relaxation.
You don't have to make any effort to think or stop.
Thoughts just happen all by themselves and here relaxation does too.
Just allow yourself to experience your own perceptions,
Your feelings with each breath and allow yourself to enjoy whatever changes begin to happen in your life as you learn to relax.
Now you can allow your eyes to gently open and notice how relaxed you feel right now compared to a few moments ago.
