Do you crave getting a bit messy? Are you bored with having to be an adult all the time? Do you need to take life a little less seriously, be a little less scared of failing, or just give yourself permission to play? Whether you're a complete novice who feels a pull to connect to your intuition and creativity, or an artist who needs a fresh environment and some new ideas, come and join me in June. Three nights in a secret woodland valley near Bath ~ painting in the trees, meals cooked over an open fire, a wood-fired sauna, cold plunge, forest bathing, and yoga in a roundhouse. You'll leave with a big (~100 x 70cm) painting ready to hang at home, a quieter mind, a sense of freedom, and a feeling of being more yourself. Guided by me, Georgie ~ artist and creativity guide ~ alongside Laura's fire-cooked feasts and Zuzu's calming yoga and massage. No experience needed. Just you, the trees, and a bit of mess.

This year food will be prepared by the wonderful Laura Rose of Blue Lias Kitchen. Based near Glastonbury, Laura showcases the best of Somerset’s hedgerows and fields in everything she creates. As a sourdough and fermentation specialist and sustainability advocate, she crafts bespoke, responsibly sourced menus that honour the land. She has a deep interest in creating food that is actively restorative for the gut - an area so often overlooked in our modern culture. Her focus is on organic, soothing ingredients that are as delicious as they are nutritional. She’s on a mission to empower others through seasonal, organic, and affordable eating, to create a healthier world one plate at a time. From Georgie:  'Pretty much every woman I know struggles with some kind of gut trouble. Interestingly, common retreat staples - like raw veg or fermented foods - can actually trigger discomfort. It’s hard to feel inspired to paint (or do anything, frankly), when your gut is out of whack. That’s why this year, we’re making happy guts a key part of the experience so that everyone feels nourished, not bloated! Think: Early dinners ~ helping digestion before the body’s motility slows at night Gut-soothing staples ~ ginger teas, bone broths, and ghee to support the gut lining and calm inflammation. Nurturing meals ~ high-protein, regenerative ingredients to keep blood sugar steady. Hydration ~ soaked chia seeds and coconut water for electrolytes and good motility. Any way more…. Whether you are on a gut healing journey or just want to feel lighter and more energised, Laura’s menu is designed to be as functional as it is flavourful. Freedom in your body = freedom in your creativity & life.' SAMPLE MENU Our menu evolves with the seasons to ensure peak nutrition and flavour whilst supporting gut health. Full dietary customisation is available: Breakfast Warm water, lemon and ginger (GF, DF, V) Spring oxymel shot with turmeric root (GF, DF, V) Porridge with cinnamon, banana and almond butter (DF, GF, V) Poached eggs on sourdough (contains: wheat, gluten) Lunch Starter of rocket and foraged greens including wild garlic, dandelion, nettles and cleavers (GF, DF, V) Chicken and coconut korma served with basmati rice, mint, yoghurt raita and a tomato and coriander relish and sourdough naan (Contains: wheat, gluten) Wild garlic sourdough soda bread (contains: wheat, gluten) Dinner Chargrilled Monkfish tail, with a wild garlic pistou, served with baked sweet potatoes on the coals and seasonal summer green salad (GF, DF) Pudding Dark chocolate, ginger and orange torte (contains: dairy) GF = Gluten Free | DF = Dairy Free | V = Vegan. Testimonials

info

I attended the Wild Creativity Retreat that Georgie hosted with Laura Paine and honestly cannot recommend it enough! The weekend was so well thought out, in a beautiful location with the most delicious food and lots of lovely like-minded people. I’ve not had much experience with painting and find it hard to know how to experiment but Georgie has an incredible way of guiding you through different exercises to help you let go and just get back to ‘playing’. I left feeling so much more inspired and open to experimenting more creatively. Laura’s guidance with cooking was so approachable and has made me think completely differently about how to use ingredients and come up with recipes. This was my first retreat and I’m so happy I went! Will definitely come along to more of Georgie’s classes in future.

Such an amazing time at the Creativity Retreat! Georgie and Laura were the best hosts, so well organised and so well taken care of the whole time. Their skills and teaching have left a massive impression on me, giving me a different perspective on creativity and inspiring me to keep doing more. The whole trip was full of fun, joy and connection. Highly recommend :)

It was a really special weekend. Every detail was thought out perfectly, the location was magical with it’s nearby lake, authentic huts in the woods and sauna, goodie bags on arrival, evenings around the fire pit……I went along for the creativity but Laura and her cooking was such an amazing accompaniment, it worked perfectly. I could write so much about it, all positive, it was the perfect way to connect with your creative self and others all within such beautiful surroundings. Georgie and Laura really did an amazing job, I am looking forward to the next one! I cannot recommend this enough ❤️

Georgie and Laura’s retreat was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, and the mix of activities was really well thought out. Laura’s cooking sessions were a highlight — the food was fresh, delicious, and a big part of what made the retreat feel special. Georgie’s painting workshops were just as enjoyable; as a beginner I felt completely at ease to try things out without pressure, and I was genuinely proud of what I created. The chance to swim and relax in between made the days feel balanced and restorative (The daily firepit wind-down always memorable). It was a great way to kickstart my creativity, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for an inspiring and enjoyable retreat.
