Details

Are you ready for something you've never experienced before? The smell of healing fires, traditional incense, and the fresh medicinal plants and flowers used in the healing sessions will draw you into this ancient yet timeless experience. This is a small, intimate retreat with lots of personal attention. When you arrive at our cabin sanctuary for your stay, feel welcomed into our family and home as we serve you home-cooked, organically grown, feel-good food and you take your rest in our comfortable, private queen bedrooms with high-quality mattresses and linens. Ancient traditional healing and wisdom bring true transformation to individuals, couples, and groups. Don't miss this opportunity to open, recover, and be released from old ways that are no longer serving you as you receive blessings of wisdom and grace at a sacred altar. Our goal is to support you in recovering and blossoming in your life, your relationship, your work, and your purpose. At this retreat, receive healing that is an indigenous-lineage answer to the challenges of today's human world. Traditional healing offers an alternative to "trauma work" and "shadow work." Although these healers have not been reared in and lived their whole lives within a native village, they have been recognized, initiated and trained, and given a responsibility to carry this work forward by Don Lucio Campos de Elizalde, a Nahua elder, one of those original people. Forgiveness, reciprocation, and the mysterious ways of Divine forces open up these ancient paths to people of today. That way, we can find our way to what is fundamental about being human and what is necessary to live good and fulfilling human lives that benefit our families and society... and build beneficial futures for us and the people around us. Stay to soak in the benefits of your transformative healing session. Add an extra night or two to experience more healing or venture out to Asheville city and its many entertainments, world-class hiking, and other outdoor, dining and shopping adventures, or visit the quaint town of Weaverville and its walking downtown shops and dining. You can expect... Deep healing treatment at the sacred traditional altar with traditional prayers, fresh herbal plants, sacred incense, and other natural elements, including spiritual cleansing and blessing to enliven you on your path forward. Leave your burdens at the altar and emerge renewed. Customized sessions address your unique situation and your spiritual needs and can include soul retrieval, temazcalli (sacred sweat lodge ritual), extraction of past traumas and shocks with limpias (cleanings), and more. Treatments can include... Exploration of personal goals, with guidance from traditional views. Life counseling to address where you are on your path, learn from past experiences, and face where to go from here. Customized homework to help you set your feet on the path, build good muscles, and get moving toward successful progress. You're invited to come back for more healing and also receive follow-up support and counseling via Zoom sessions.

If I could give 100 stars, I would. My daughter and I spent three soul-nourishing nights at a sacred healing sanctuary in the mountains with Adam and Erin. On the drive there, we laughed softly to ourselves — not entirely sure why we had signed up for this retreat, only knowing that we were drawn here. Called here. From the moment we arrived, something in the air felt different — lighter, gentler, deeply alive. Adam and Erin greeted us on the deck, where we settled into cozy chairs and began with small talk that quickly turned into something much more. Their warmth, their authenticity, and their complete lack of judgment wrapped around us like a soft blanket. The log cabin, nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, feels like it was built by the earth itself — surrounded by towering trees, kissed by sunlight, and held in stillness. I’ve never witnessed such beauty or such peace. It was as if both of our nervous systems sighed in relief; we were finally somewhere our souls could rest. Over the next three days, my daughter and I each experienced three traditional limpia healing sessions. With every breath, every word, every sacred ritual, it became beautifully clear why we had been called here. Adam and Erin are true healers — luminous souls who hold space with grace, compassion, and an unwavering sense of presence. Through their guidance, I learned to see the world through softer eyes — to notice the beauty, the energy, the unseen threads that connect us all. We also journeyed on two remarkable hikes — one through the Flint Mountains and another through their own enchanted forest, where Erin shared her deep knowledge of the trees. Each step felt like a prayer, each moment like a gentle awakening. I left that mountain sanctuary forever changed — lighter, clearer, and deeply grateful. If you are reading this and feel even the slightest pull to go, listen to it. This retreat is not just a place; it’s a doorway. The healing you will receive is undeniable — and it will stay with you long after you return home.

I Can’t Recommend This Retreat Enough After leaving a job and before starting a new chapter, I attended the 3-Day Personal Healing Retreat to decompress and reconnect with myself. I came seeking rest and clarity, but I left with so much more. This retreat gave me the space to process grief I hadn’t realized was holding me back, reconnect with my emotions, and gain a deeper sense of purpose. The land that Erin and Adam care for is truly magical, and you can feel the love and intention they’ve poured into every detail. Adam, who is a talented builder, created many of the beautiful structures on the property - including the stunning porch where we could gather for yoga, meals, and community, as well as the consultorio where ceremonies were held. Every meal was nourishing and delicious, thoughtfully prepared by Monnica using Erin’s healing recipes. Monnica put care and attention into each dish, making mealtimes one of the many highlights of the retreat. In ceremonies, Adam offered powerful energy, guidance, and wise counsel, while Erin tended to the flow of each day, thoughtfully creating an environment where everyone felt safe, supported, and deeply cared for. Beyond that, Erin and Adam shared teachings rooted in nature, plant and animal wisdom, and healing practices that provided the retreat with a grounded structure and left me with tools I can carry forward. Erin and Adam are not only incredible healers but also gifted teachers who share their wisdom with clarity, compassion, and heart. Erin, Adam, and Monnica are each extraordinary in their own unique ways, and together they create a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a safe and supportive space to step away from technology and reconnect with yourself and nature, I can’t recommend this retreat enough.

Great trip, better experience. Erin Everett and Adam Laufer are two of the most kind hearted people that you'll ever meet in this lifetime. The trip itself is a great experience and being out deep in the woods up in the mountains has a beautiful calming effect on its own. I found myself just basking outside at random times just soaking it all in. The healing itself was an experience. I tried some modern healing for some of the emotional trauma I've dealt with in my life which had mixed results. Nahua healing was new for me and even though I had some understanding of it actually going through the experience is something that I believe everyone in whatever stage of their life should experience it as well. Just my opinion but they're more than healers, I can't put everything into works but I went there carrying a ton of unnecessary luggage (stress etc) and left feeling lighter than before and with a clarity that I haven't had in sometime. They help you find the answers within yourself and you'll leave feeling more confident than ever with positive energy that you can bring to others in your life if you choose to do so. Also Billie is a great chef as well, I didn't get to chat with her as much unfortunately but she brings the same energy as Adam and Erin and I wish she could cook for me forever. Stay blessed
