Details

A deeply personal retreat to reconnect with your true nature. You sense it’s time to step away from distractions and listen - to the wisdom within, to the deeper parts of yourself that have been waiting to be heard. This retreat offers a rare chance to untangle old patterns, release what no longer serves you, and weave strong new threads to support your future. From the moment you arrive, your time here is held with care. You’ll work closely with Henny, blending deep inner work with space for stillness and reflection. We'll work together to craft what you most need. Maybe that's a slow start to the day, a guided mindfulness practice or a dawn walk, followed by journaling to ground you. Through guided exploration, you’ll uncover limiting beliefs, build new strategies, and reconnect with your innate wisdom. Ceremonial cacao, deep relaxation practices, and time in nature offer further layers of restoration. Space for contemplation is woven throughout: you are fully supported as you rest into this powerful journey of self-reconnection.

From the first moment we arrived, we knew this to be a beautiful, healing place. It feels important to share everything this land offers, which is why we've created this individual retreat experience. From one-to-one therapeutic coaching, creative reflective practices and cacao ceremonies to journaling, meditation, yoga nidra and walking in the beautiful land around us, this retreat is shaped around you. And if all you want to do is sleep and gaze at the view, that's ok too.

We call it the summer house. A space of lightness and light, whatever the season. Looking out over the valley, up to the woods beyond... a completely private space, tucked safely in a corner of our land. Natural linen sheets cover a bed you'll want to clamber into. Generous cushions are scattered in the perfect meditation station. A soft loveseat provides another beautiful spot for resting and reflecting and snoozing. Your ensuite bathroom includes organic toiletries and a clever compost loo; supporting our aim to sit lightly on this land. In the warmer months, you can even enjoy the beautiful view from our outdoor shower and when nights are cooler, settle by the fire bowl on the deck. This is a space dedicated to rest.

Meals

Meals provided

Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

Diets catered

Vegan · Vegetarian · Gluten-free · Dairy-free · Nut Allergy Friendly

As standard, everything we make, serve and eat ourselves is vegetarian and gluten-free with no refined sugar. Food is free from cow-dairy, though we may use eggs and sheep/goats cheese. Where possible, we'll use fruits and vegetables from our land. You'll find breakfast in your (silent) fridge. A jar of freshly made overnight oats and apples plus nuts, seeds, berries and bee pollen to add to your preferred taste. Lunch tends to be a soup or salad (depending on the season) with tasty additions to tempt your tastebuds. Dinner might be unguent Aubergine YumYum (a dish many ask for twice!), quinoa vegetable risotto, courgette fritters or beany burgers with Indian coleslaw. Before you arrive, we'll check with you on any food preferences and shape the menu around you. There are drinks and sweet nibbles in your retreat house for you too, with plenty to keep you feeling replenished during your stay. We'll bring everything to you, and take away all the dishes. This is truly nourishing care.

Schedule

A Gentle Flow to Your Day Your retreat is shaped around your needs, with time to rest, reflect, and explore. Here’s an example of how a day might unfold: Morning Awakening – Begin your day slowly, allowing yourself to drift into wakefulness - perhaps with a gentle mindfulness practice or maybe you'll choose to greet the birds with a dawn walk to settle into presence. Journaling & Reflection – A guided journaling prompt invites you to explore what’s arising, setting the tone for your inner work. Breakfast in Your Own Time – Enjoy nourishing overnight oats with seeds, nuts, and bee pollen, alongside a warm restorative drink. You could even clamber back into bed, resting against the pillows and enjoying the view. Morning Session with Henny – We’ll explore what’s calling for your attention, releasing old patterns and expanding awareness. Restful Lunch and Private Reflection – A nourishing meal is delivered to your door, with space to journal, rest, or walk in nature. Afternoon Session with Henny – A deep dive into your unfolding insights, perhaps with a cacao ceremony or a yoga nidra for deep relaxation. Evening Wind-Down – Your dinner arrives as the light fades. Watch the stars emerge, write, read, or simply be. This rhythm weaves together supported inner work and spacious solitude, allowing your retreat to unfold naturally.

Testimonials

info

I have loved spending time in the retreat and amongst nature. I leave with lots to reflect on. I feel challenged and now have a real sense of ownership for my next chapter. Henny has such a wonderful way of leading you on a curious and sometimes difficult path to discover new ways and new choices. Thank you for the wonderful food, fires and warmth.

On arrival, as I settled in at this most inspiring and beautiful of locations, I began to realise this moment was what I made it and to trust myself to just go with it. Henny is the most amazing person. Inspiring me to reflect on life's experiences in a way no coach has ever done. She really understood me as a person and helped draw out the most incredible insights about who I really am. With Anton's incredible building work, gardening skills and food, they have built an environment to feed not only the person but your soul too. I am incredibly grateful for the experience here, for what it has given me in the moment, and for what is to come.

Neil, United Kingdom

This is a very special place created and held by two very special people. Henny and Anton - thank you! Thank you for sharing this space, thank you for your unwavering generosity; thank you for introducing me to heavenly nourishing vegetarian food. And thank you for introducing me to the exquisite cacao ceremony. Today I feel truly blessed and ever so grateful for taking the time out to REST here. Today feels like a springboard for change... and self-care.

Sarah, United Kingdom

I will never have the words to express my gratitude for this experience. I feel emotional even reflecting on my time here. So much to say and equally nothing at all to say. The place of no requirements is a space that I will carry in my heart with such deep, deep love. The lessons, the remembering, the birdsong, the trees, the FOOD! The letting go, the being nurtured, the calm, the joy, the pain. The lessons. So much can be felt when nothing is required of you. I know you know this already but you are both individually and collectively on the path you are meant to be on. Just thank you for it all. I leave blessing this space for the next person really to embrace their internal magic. Until next time.
