Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa is a peaceful oasis nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains of the San Luis Valley. It is more than just a retreat—it is a sanctuary, a community, and a place where people from all walks of life come to heal and find peace from the stresses of daily life. The naturally super-heated waters at Joyful Journey are geothermally and hydrothermally charged, offering a rare experience of odor-free mineral hot springs. Sourced directly from private artesian springs, these pools are tempered between 98°F and 108°F, providing a soothing and restorative environment. For centuries, these healing waters have served as a sanctuary for Native Americans, Spanish explorers, and settlers, who cherished their unique therapeutic qualities. Known simply as “The Waters,” this sacred place was seen as a refuge of peace where all tribes were welcome, leaving differences behind to heal. Guests can choose between the comfort of shared or single lodge rooms or the unique experience of staying in yurts with expansive night sky views. All accommodations include complimentary robes to enhance your stay. While Wi-Fi is available in designated areas, the retreat is intentionally designed to offer an opportunity to unplug and reconnect with yourself and the sacred surroundings.

Reflecting back, this experience for me was unforgettable and life-changing. I felt well-supported and had an indescribable bond and energy with everyone in attendance.

Patrick Gallagher, USA

I have never felt more connected with my physical and emotional inner self. I thought I would come out of this teacher training course with the tools to help others and deliver a great sleep recovery class. This course has opened my eyes to not only the benefits of rest, yoga nidra, and sleep hygiene but also to daily yoga practices, meditation, self-reflection, and taking life at a slower pace. Thank you all for your hard work and time. You are truly changing lives!

Jill D’Len, USA

It was an amazing experience.  To be able to go through training to learn skills that not only can help me at work but also outside of work that will greatly impact my quality of life is priceless. I learned to open my mind to accept love, peace, and awareness and pay attention to my body and my needs. I can now better recognize symptoms or issues I am having and how the simple practice of sleep recovery can improve those. It also has allowed me to feel more connected to the people in my life. When I am rested I am more present and available to those in my life.
