Join us on a Lifepath Retreat in the heart of the Pocono Mountains at the beautiful Himalayan Institute Retreat Center. Unwind, rejuvenate, and reconnect with yourself in a serene and supportive environment. Join our Ayurveda and Yoga classes in the breathtaking Seminar Room, bathed in natural sunlight and surrounded by windows. Embrace nature during our mindful hike on picturesque, forested trails. On a Lifepath Retreat, you will experience: • Friday Evening Gentle Yoga and Meditation Following your arrival and dinner, begin your Lifepath Retreat with gentle yoga and meditation, perfect for winding down from the week and settling into a peaceful state of mind. • Ayurveda Lectures and Discussions Discover the wisdom of Ayurveda through engaging lectures and discussions. You will have the opportunity to complete a questionnaire to determine your unique Ayurvedic Constitution, or dosha. Ayurveda topics include: * Fundamentals of Ayurveda: Explore the five elements and the three doshas * Understanding Your Ayurvedic Constitution/Dosha: Gain insight into your unique constitutional makeup * Managing Imbalances: Learn about imbalances related to each dosha * Nutrition and Balance: Understand the six tastes and dietary guidelines to balance each dosha * The Ayurveda Clock: Explore daily, seasonal, and life stage rhythms * Explore Ayurvedic Lifestyle/Dinacharya practices for maintaining balance • Saturday Flow Yoga Enjoy a dynamic and invigorating yoga session designed to harmonize body and mind. • Saturday Evening Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra Unwind with restorative yoga and experience the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation practice. • Mindful Hike Embark on a mindful hike along the Retreat Center’s forested Red Trail. This hike incorporates energy practices such as qigong, asana, and meditation, allowing you to connect deeply with nature. • Sunday Morning Qigong (Energy Practice) End your Lifepath Retreat with a revitalizing Qigong session, an ancient energy practice that promotes overall well-being. Lifepath Retreat offers a perfect blend of yoga, Ayurveda, and nature to help you achieve balance and vibrant well-being. The Himalayan Institute Kitchen The intention of the Himalayan Institute Kitchen is to provide the community and guests with meals that support a meditative lifestyle. It is where the spirit of yoga practice, selfless service, and deep nourishment begins, one taste at a time. Restore Your Balance BREAKFAST Breakfast generally consists of hot cereals (cooked grains), dairy and non-dairy options, homemade yogurt, and fresh fruit. Nourish Your Body LUNCH Lunch, the main meal of the day, typically includes white and brown rice, delicious legumes (dahl), vegetables (subzi), homemade yogurt, and a fresh salad bar. Optimize Your Health DINNER Dinner is the lightest meal of the day and generally consists of soup, fresh salad, a delicious side dish, and fresh fruit. More Information NON-DAIRY, GLUTEN FREE, AND VEGAN As much as possible, we try to provide special diet options, though we may not always meet all dietary requests. Non-dairy, gluten-free, and vegan options are available at most meals. MEAL TIMES Breakfast 7:30am—8:30am Lunch 12:30pm—1:30pm Dinner 6:00pm—7:00pm Ingredient lists are included for each dish served. The menu includes grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and eggs. Gluten-free options are available. Meals are served buffet style and we are not able to accommodate all dietary needs. Homemade soups are served daily. Fresh, homemade bread (whole-wheat and gluten-free) is served at every meal. COFFEE, CHAI, AND TREATS Our in-house Himalayan Cafe offers freshly brewed Moka Origins coffee, the Institute’s signature Chai Tea, and homemade cookies and treats.

The remaining balance for the retreat is due 30 days prior to the start date. If this balance is paid earlier than these 30 days, you are eligible to cancel and receive a full refund of this remaining balance, provided you do so at least 30 days before the retreat begins.
