Highlights

  • Nervous‑system‑focused retreat combining yoga, breathwork and plant‑forward nutrition to reset stress, restore deep energy and elevate performance.

Details

This retreat offers an intimate, quietly powerful space for high‑performing humans to slow down, reset their nervous system, and reconnect with their bodies. The ambiance is calm, warm, and down‑to‑earth rather than “perfect wellness”; you’re encouraged to arrive as you are and be met with compassion. Across the days, you move between body wheel therapy sessions, guided breathwork, meditation, and practical workshops on physiology, stress, and nutrition, all designed to restore deep energy, focus, and emotional resilience. The intent is to help you understand your own patterns, learn science‑based tools to regulate and refuel, and leave with simple practices you can realistically sustain at work and at home. What makes this retreat unique is the blend of evidence‑informed coaching, plant‑forward nourishment, and genuine human care: small group size, personalised attention, and a holistic approach that honours both performance and sensitivity.

Location

Sicily, Italy

Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, is a captivating region of Italy known for its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning landscapes. The island boasts a unique blend of architectural styles and cultural influences, reflecting its complex history of Greek, Roman, Arab, Norman, and Spanish rule. Visitors can explore ancient ruins such as the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, the well-preserved Greek theater in Taormina, and the Roman mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale. Sicily's natural beauty is equally impressive, with the towering Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, offering dramatic landscapes and hiking opportunities. The island's coastline is dotted with picturesque beaches and charming seaside towns like Cefalù and Syracuse. Sicily is also renowned for its vibrant culinary scene, featuring delicious local specialties such as arancini, cannoli, and fresh seafood, all complemented by excellent regional wines. With its rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural wonders, Sicily offers an unforgettable experience for travelers.

You’ll be staying in a beautifully restored Sicilian farmhouse that feels both unique and deeply authentic. Original features, local materials, and the surrounding countryside give it a strong sense of place, so you really know you’re in Sicily rather than in “generic” retreat accommodation. At the same time, the house is equipped with all the modern amenities you need to be fully comfortable: spacious, bright rooms with air conditioning, contemporary bathrooms, and thoughtfully designed communal spaces. There are expansive gardens, a pool, and many quiet corners for alone time, alongside welcoming shared areas where you can connect with the group. This blend of rustic character and modern comfort creates a setting that is grounding, nourishing, and genuinely special.

Meals are designed to be deeply nourishing, stabilising, and delicious, with a strong focus on plant‑forward, whole‑food cooking. You can expect colourful seasonal dishes centred on vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fruit, nuts, and seeds, with high‑quality fats and thoughtful protein sources to support stable energy, blood sugar, and hormonal harmony. Menus are crafted to minimise blood‑sugar spikes and afternoon crashes, so you stay clear‑headed for practices and workshops. Meals are served in a relaxed, communal style that encourages connection but never pressure—there is always space to eat quietly if you prefer. You’ll experience both comforting, familiar flavours and a few gentle Sicilian twists, all without extremes or restriction, so you leave feeling genuinely fed rather than “on a diet.”

Schedule

Each day follows a gentle, structured rhythm that balances guided practice, learning, and real rest. Mornings focus on embodied work: breathwork and meditation, followed by yoga suitable for all levels. Late morning and early afternoon are dedicated to workshops on physiology, stress, hormone harmony, and nutrition, woven with practical tools you can take back into daily life. There is spacious downtime between sessions for the pool, the garden, an excursion, or a nap, so integration happens naturally rather than in a rush. Late afternoon brings a second practice—restorative movement, body wheel therapy, or pilates—designed to help you wind down and process the day. Evenings are for unhurried, nourishing dinners and relaxed conversation, games, music, or solo time. Over the arc of the retreat, this steady pattern creates a deep reset without feeling rigid or overwhelming.
