We will stay in a luxury, five-star retreat home just outside Zion National Park. The home is located by the Zion Ponderosa Resort in a private gated community. Located 7 miles from Zion National Park East entrance and next to the Zion Ponderosa Resort, they offer many activities for all ages. You can access many hikes in Zion National Park from here without having to drive into the park to catch the shuttle. There are very few crowds on the way out to Observation Point, the East Rim Trail, or Cable Mountain from the trails here, just quiet and solitude. Bryce National Park is just over an hour away. Lake Powell and North Grand Canyon are just under 2 hours.

Schedule

Join us for an incredible 5-day retreat in beautiful southern Utah. Come expand your knowledge of how to take care of one’s mind, body, and soul during this informative and fun wellness retreat. Escape the stress that can come from life and embark on a life-changing journey as you bask in the breathtaking scenery. Hiking Hiking on our Utah retreat is self-guided. You can choose your trail and how far you want to go, so long as you don’t miss the return ride back to the house. There are trails of all levels, from easy to strenuous. Here are some of our favorite suggestions: Angel’s Landing (5.4 Miles Round Trip, Strenuous) It is arguably the most talked about trail in Zion Canyon with a heart-pounding climb to a spectacular viewpoint. The trail has become so popular that NPS has created a new permit system to help manage crowds. Do not let this deter you from the hike. You can apply for a permit starting January 3, 2022, at https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/angels-landing-hiking-permits.htm. There will be additional openings available the day before. And you can still hike a substantial part of the trail to Scout's Lookout without a permit. A permit is required only on the final quarter-mile ascent. The Narrows (Up to 8 Miles, Strenuous). A hike like no other. On this unique route, the Virgin River is your trail, and you will be navigating through a narrow canyon in water that is ankle to waist deep. It’s spectacular, but yes, the water will be cold. A winter package can be rented that includes neoprene-lined canyon boots, dry pants, and a hiking pole. This is optional and costs about $50 per day but is highly recommended. Navajo Loop Trail (4-6 Miles, Moderate) Descend deep into Bryce Canyon and discover a vast red rock amphitheater filled with beautiful and bizarre rock spires called hoodoos. Many of the formations have names or stories attached to them, and all can cast a spell. A guided horseback ride is also an option with reservations. You might also wish to visit the historic lodge or popular visitor center on our day visit to Bryce Canyon National Park. Yoga & Meditation Classes Yoga (and/or meditation) will be offered daily as detailed within the retreat schedule. Our wellness retreats aim to have a balance between yoga, hiking, and downtime. Our yoga and meditation offerings are for all levels. All classes and everything listed on the schedule are completely optional.

Testimonials

info

"This retreat experience was exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a healthy vacation get-a-way where I can be out in nature, eat healthy foods and not only self-reflect but hit the reset button for a couple days. This retreat met all my expectations."

Claire, United States

"I have been on several retreats in my life and this retreat by far was the most enjoyable. From the beautiful retreat home to the fabulous food, the attention to detail and all the little extras really made this retreat stand out."

Lynn, United States

"I’ve always wanted to go on a retreat like this. I was introduced to them through the personal training world. After unexpectedly losing my husband, I felt encouraged more to do a big thing by myself, which had always been a challenge for me. My husband and I were always connected, so after losing him, I told myself, “You can do things alone, and you’ll be ok”. And I’m glad I was able to prove myself right. "I feel connected to nature, and there is something peaceful to me about being in a desert location with all the beautiful red rock. I looked into Sedona first because I’ve been there and I fell in love with it. But I felt it was important for my journey to go somewhere new. And I’m glad I did. Zion and Bryce Canyon truly feel magical! "Traveling alone was a big accomplishment for me. I met some fantastic people and I’m so grateful. This was truly a unique and wonderful experience! Wonderful hosts, crew, and accommodations. I will be booking another trip in the future."
