Our chefs create delicious and nutritious meals that are lacto-vegetarian, and we also offer vegan options. We avoid using foods from the onion, garlic, and mushroom families, as these ingredients are not conducive to meditation and yogic practices. We neither serve nor allow alcohol, smoking or drugs on our premises, as they can interfere with the meditation and yoga process. We hope that you will enjoy our delicious and healthy food during your stay at our retreat! We also offer gluten free options upon request.

New Ideas to Implement for a Lasting Effect I needed time away for a Zen moment for reflection and guidance. I chose it because it was an introduction to meditation and yoga, but the dates were the deciding factor. I was able to experience new ideas to implement for a lasting effect. The food was off the chain!

Highly Reccommend this Meditation and Yoga Retreat I went to the retreat to deepen my meditation practice, which is essential to my well-being in these challenging times. The retreat offered meditation practice and yoga in a lovely setting that was easy to reach from NYC. I greatly appreciated the care and thoughtfulness that the Dadas put into every aspect of the experience, from the program to the meals and the accommodations. The morning yoga practice with Rina was also great. I learned mantra meditation, which was new to me. I was very taken with the mantra meditation and am incorporating it into my practice. I had a wonderful experience at the Meditation, Yoga, and Living with Purpose weekend retreat and I highly recommend it.

There are significant challenges in the world of healthcare professionals. I chose this retreat as I have been pondering the specific purpose of my career and clinical practice. I was able to have a short visit with my family and then attend the retreat a few hours away. It addressed the needs for the deepening existential crisis older persons face when reviewing their lives and considering significant changes. The conclusion of the three-day retreat provided a much deeper understanding of the layers of the 'mind'. Additionally, allowing a softening of my own self-criticism. There is always some expectation when attending a retreat. This time, I came without the typical expectations. My mind has opened a bit more and I am so committed to learning.

I wanted to re-establish a meditation practice. Unlike many retreats, this retreat included yoga and meditation, focusing on meditation. I started meditating daily.
