Hello and welcome to this guided sound meditation for self-loving kindness and compassion.
Begin by finding a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed either sitting or lying down.
Headphones are recommended but not necessary.
Let's begin.
If you feel safe to do so,
Close your eyes and take a long deep inhale through your nose and a slow steady exhale through your mouth.
Begin to draw attention to your heart space,
The area of our bodies that helps provide nourishment to ourselves,
The area of our consciousness that experiences love.
Love for self,
Love for others.
Imagine this area pulsating with a warm golden light.
With each pulsation it spreads warmth,
Keeping you safe and loved.
Let your breath continue to be effortless and smooth.
As you inhale,
Think,
I am worthy.
And as you exhale,
Release what no longer serves you.
Breathe in,
I am worthy.
Exhale.
Breathe in,
I am loved.
Exhale.
Breathe in,
I am enough.
Exhale.
Notice how your body feels as you repeat them.
I am worthy.
I am loved.
I am enough.
As your body and mind begin to relax,
Imagine a warm golden light pouring into the top of your head,
Melting down,
Down your body,
Filling you up inside.
Imagine the golden light filling your heart space again,
Radiating,
Pulsating.
You are worthy of happiness.
You are the only version of you in the entire world.
Know and trust that you are more than enough,
Just as you are.
Let this loving,
Special feeling vibrate through your entire body.
Feel the comfort and warmth.
You are safe.
You are loved.
Gently begin to return to the sound of my voice.
Inviting in a deep breath through your nose,
Holding it.
And as you hold,
Begin to wake your physical body by squeezing every last muscle in your body and any tension that needs to be let go and let it out with a sigh.
Letting it all go.
Begin wiggling your fingers and toes.
Lastly,
Opening your eyes to go about your day or evening with peace and love in your heart.
