Be encouraged by the imagery of this meditation to feel grounded and grow your self-confidence and self-worth. Know in your heart, in your core, who you really are and let this version of you shine and not be swayed by the passing emotions of yourself and others in your life. My wish is to aid your healing journey by sharing the messages of these crystal energies that have come through as visual art and spoken guided imagery.

Welcome to this meditation that works with the energy of Emerald.

This is about self-confidence and believing in your value to the world.

To get started,

Close your eyes and whether you're sitting or lying down,

Just quickly tense all the muscles in your body and then release.

Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.

Relax your jaw,

Let your shoulders drop,

Just let go of any tension in the body.

Take another couple of breaths.

Now imagine yourself standing in a grove of tall trees.

It is a warm sunny day.

Spaced around you are the thick trunks of an ancient grove of trees.

There is birdsong in the distance and you can hear the sound of the leaves gently rustling in the breeze.

Close your eyes and lift your chin to the sun.

Feel its warmth on your face.

Let your arms relax by your side and feel the warmth on the palms of your hands as you turn them to face the sun also.

Take a deep breath in and receive a column of pale golden light down through the top of your head,

Through the center of your body,

To your hips and then down each leg and into the earth below you.

Allow this strong column of light to hold you steady and tall.

It makes you feel strong and grounded.

This light anchors you to be fully present right here and now in the center of your body.

Feel connected to all parts of your physical body.

You have no thoughts of the past or future that require your attention right now.

Just a moment of peace as you fully inhabit this present moment.

As you continue to receive this column of light you know right here and now who you are.

You smile and thank yourself for all the gifts and value you bring to the world.

It's good to remind ourselves that this value does not just belong to a paid occupation or where we live or how much money we make.

What are your more general attributes that you contribute to the world?

Are you kind to people?

Do you listen?

Do you care for animals?

Do you show compassion to children?

Do you cook a nice meal for someone?

Do you fix something in your home that is broken?

All of these things have value.

Give thanks to yourself for the skills and attributes that make you up,

That make you the unique person that you are.

My favorite saying from Dr.

Seuss is that there is no one alive who is youer than you.

There is no one who is youer than you.

Take another deep breath.

Continue to fill your body with golden light.

Know in your heart that you matter.

Just as everyone else around you also matters.

Each tree and animal in a forest is as important as the next one.

Together they create a perfect ecosystem.

Each person is creating a home for some skill,

Some gift,

Some talent and together we make up a human forest.

We can't all do the same profession or provide the same skills.

That would get boring pretty quickly.

There needs to be a balance of skills and attributes to make our human ecosystem and society successful.

So even if you can't see it right now,

Know in your heart that there is a place for you in the forest and a reason for your tree.

Repeat these affirmations now in your mind.

Say to yourself,

I count.

I have value.

I am important to the world.

I count.

I have value.

I am important to the world.

I count.

I have value.

I am important to the world.

Maybe repeat these every day to yourself for a week or more.

Say them to yourself in front of the mirror if you can or just in your mind during a quiet break in your day.

Now as you continue to breathe in this centered space,

Start to see your column of light fizz and let off small bubbles.

They are moving and expanding from your feet upwards through your body.

As they move,

They bring a sense of joy and fun with them.

See yourself laughing and swaying and feeling joyous.

Emerald says now is the time to have some fun.

Give yourself permission to experience joy.

Find moments in your day to laugh.

Even if you have to manufacture them to begin with by consciously choosing to watch a comedy on TV,

Read a funny book or go for a walk and just enjoy being outside in your neighborhood.

Over time,

It will feel more natural to make fun a part of your day again.

As the bubbles reach your head and fly off back into the sky,

Stand tall and be proud.

Proud of your abilities.

Proud of who you are.

This energy reminds me of a peacock standing tall and proud,

Displaying its colors.

It's okay to show who you are to the world.

You do not need to seek or wait for outward approval of your value and your place in the world.

Here in this park,

With the trees and the peacocks,

You know deep in yourself who you are.

This is the true face of self-confidence.

Not how your body appears or what car you drive or how big your house is,

But knowing who you are.

Having your roots firmly in the ground whilst allowing the branches to move to and fro.

That is self-confidence.

You will always have good and bad days,

Good and bad weeks.

That is part of being human and what we are here to experience.

But know that as your branches move and sway,

Sometimes intertwine with other trees,

Sometimes stand alone,

The core of you,

The roots of you,

Stay strong and centered and do not have to be affected by the outward emotions and changes of your life.

Your self-respect and strength of self stays rooted and strong,

Like a column of light extending from source straight through the center of your body and into the earth.

Relax now and know that you can take this deep sense of self-confidence with you into your day into your week after this meditation.

If you are in bed,

Feel free now to drift off to sleep.

If you are returning to your day,

Slowly start to move your fingers and toes.

Become aware of the room and sensations in your body.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes and take a final deep breath to finish this meditation together.

Namaste.
