Hey mama,

You are enough.

I'm Rebecca Ryan and the practice I have for you today is a breath and mantra practice.

The mantra for the practice is I am enough.

Anyone is welcome to try this practice but I've written it especially for mothers.

Find somewhere comfortable to sit now and if it's available to you place both your feet on the floor firmly feeling the contact between both your feet and the floor.

Notice next where you contact the chair or other supports.

Noticing the contact between your body and your supports.

Lengthening your spine if possible so you feel a lightness in your chest while being firmly grounded through your feet and to the chair or floor.

Inhale consciously and deeply through your nose and sigh out through parted lips like doing this twice more in your own time.

Allow your breath to turn to its natural rhythm and as you inhale and exhale through your nostrils notice the quality of your breath.

Is it fast or slow?

Perhaps you can notice the temperature of your breath as you inhale and exhale at your nostrils.

Nothing to change just noticing your breath and then we're going to add the mantra to the breath.

As you inhale say silently to yourself I am and on the exhale say enough.

I am enough.

If your mind wanders bring it back to awareness of the breath and the repetition of the mantra I am enough.

A few more rounds.

Gently preparing to end this practice.

For the final time say your mantra aloud I am enough.

Letting go of the breath and mantra practice.

Noticing once more where your feet are contacting the floor and where your body is contacting the chair or the supports.

Lengthening your spine again.

If your eyes are closed open them smile and go on with your day.

Thank you for practicing with me and remember you are enough.
