Welcome to today's meditation.
Let's start by finding a comfortable position to sit or lie down.
Allow the eyes to softly close if that feels good for you.
Let's start today by taking a big sigh of relief.
A big sigh of letting go,
Of exhaustion perhaps,
Of just needing this moment for yourself.
And I want to take an opportunity to thank you for giving this time to yourself today even when life feels as relentless as it does right now.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth like you're blowing out a candle.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
You can follow this breath throughout the meditation or you can allow your breathing to come to its natural rhythm.
Find what feels good for you and trust your body.
You may feel like the tide never breaks.
Day after day,
Push after push,
Relentless waves of must do,
Should be,
Keep going.
Your body,
Your mind,
Your heart are all whispering enough,
But the world keeps asking for more.
Today,
In this moment,
Breathe.
Breathe.
Let your inhale reach into the depth of your ribs,
Your spine,
Your guts.
And as you exhale,
Feel the edges soften.
The tension around your shoulders melt.
The tightness in your jaw unfurl.
You didn't sign up for this unending push.
You weren't built to carry the weight of the world on the promise of tomorrow.
You are here now,
Right now.
And that matters.
Let's take a breath.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Notice the drum of your heart.
It's steady,
Ancient rhythm.
That beating is your truth,
Not the voices saying you're behind,
Not the list whispering you're not enough.
Just the beat of you alive,
Breathing,
Present.
You have permission to pause,
To rest unashamedly,
To say,
I'm human.
To honor what you need instead of what you think you should.
You are allowed to stop running.
To stand still in the silence.
To watch the waves without drowning in them.
In this pause,
Ask yourself,
What am I chasing?
What am I carrying that isn't mine to carry?
What did I pick up because someone told me to,
Not because my soul said yes?
Give yourself the grace to set something down.
It might be small,
A word you don't say,
A favor you don't do.
A fear you don't entertain.
It might be huge,
The story you believe about yourself.
The identity you carry because it felt safe.
Let go of the relentless.
Let the breath remind you,
You are more than your productivity.
You are more than your endurance.
You are more than your output.
You are more than the pain you feel when life feels too much.
You are the one who watches the waves.
You are the one who stands on the shore and lets them pass.
You are the calm beneath the storm.
You are the quiet space where new growth begins.
So when life feels relentless,
Come to this breath,
Return to your heart's beat.
Let the tide of demands rise and fall without sweeping you away.
Let your yes be intentional.
Let your no be sacred.
Let your rest be revolutionary.
You are doing enough.
You are being enough.
You are enough.
And every storm will pass.
Take a nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in with me now.
And release with another big sigh.
Letting everything go.
Freeing yourself from the weight of the world.
Begin to bring awareness back to your body with all the fingers,
The toes.
Have a stretch if that feels good for you.
And at your own pace,
Whenever you feel ready,
Slowly blink the eyes open and come back into the room.
Thank you.
