But right now your body is having a little wobble.
That's okay,
It's just trying to keep you safe.

In through your nose,
And then out through your mouth like you're blowing out a candle.
It's okay if your breathing is a little bit fast right now.
Your body is in fight or flight mode,
And we just need to let it know that you're not being chased by a tiger,
Okay?
It's just trying to help,
But sometimes it can be a little bit misguided.
That's okay.
Listen to me.
I know that this feels so overwhelmingly gigantic right now.
I know it does.
Take another breath with me again.
In.
Out.
That's it.
You have survived this before,
Remember?
And you will survive this again.
You will.
I know you're exhausted.
I know you are.
Let's take a breath.
In.
And out.
Well done.
But just look at all the things you have been through,
All the impossible things you have survived.
You did that.
You did.
Breathe in.
That's it.
And out.
Feel your feet on the ground for a minute.
Just notice them there.
Notice your hands,
Your skin,
Your breath.
Notice what happens when you let your shoulders soften.
Notice what happens when you soften your jaw.
You are doing so well.
Deep breath in.
And out.
This moment is not stronger than you.
You know that?
This feeling and this part of your life,
All temporary,
This will pass.
You will survive this moment.
In.
And out.
There is nothing wrong with you for feeling the way you feel.
Your feelings are valid.
So valid.
And right now,
It might feel like you're drowning in them.
I hear you.
But I need you to trust yourself now.
I need you to trust that your body is just trying to keep you safe in the way it knows best.
I need you to trust that you are strong enough to get through this.
Because you are.
You're okay.
You're okay.
Focus on the top of your head now.
And take that awareness to your forehead,
To your eyebrows,
Your eyelids.
Let them relax.
Let them soften.
Your nose.
Your jaw.
Just drop that jaw.
Let that completely relax.
We can store a lot of tension there.
Relax your ears,
Your lips and your mouth.
Your chin.
All of your face.
Your head now relaxing.
Take that awareness down to your neck.
Soften and relax those muscles there.
Let that relaxation flow to your shoulders.
Let everything go.
All of those worries.
All of that tension.
Just releasing all of that now.
Relaxing down through the arms,
The elbows,
The wrists.
Every finger.

2,
3,
4,
5.
And back up from your fingertips to your shoulders.
Relaxing through the chest now.
Just release.
Let it all go.
Through your upper back,
Mid-back,
Torso,
Abdomen,
Lower back,
Lower belly.
And down to your hips.
Relaxing all of your hip muscles.
Sitting deep into your hip bones.
Letting everything go.
Down,
Relaxing through the legs now.
Thighs to the knees.
Down to your calves.
Ankles and your feet.
Noticing your feet on the floor.
Just noticing them there.
And taking a breath again.
In and out.
Well done.
You're doing it.
You are getting through this moment.
You are surviving this moment.
