Hi,

My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this laughter meditation.

This meditation is so that you can discover if you can really think something and make that thought have an effect on you in a short time.

You're simply going to listen to what I'm going to tell you effortlessly and observe the results.

First,

I'm going to ask you to sit in a comfortable place where no one will interrupt you for several minutes.

And you can be with your eyes opened or closed,

Whatever is more comfortable for you.

And in that comfortable position,

I'm going to ask you to think of something that you have seen recently that you liked and that was pleasant for you to see or experience.

Did you know that studies have shown that babies laugh about 200 to 300 times a day?

And that 45 year old adults laugh on average 300 times in a period of three months.

This is why it's important to feel and experience something that you will hear in a few moments.

Life is today.

Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow doesn't really matter.

What's important is this present moment.

And in this present moment,

On this day,

Before 12 hours have passed,

You'll be able to laugh.

You'll feel like laughing over and over again for no apparent reason.

Not now,

But later.

Because the point of this meditation is about making you want to laugh when you least expect it.

And we're not talking about laughing just once and that's it.

But rather,

We're talking about laughing several times during the day.

It's about smiling at life over and over again.

And perhaps this meditation will make you want to laugh every 20 minutes or every half hour.

It really doesn't matter how often.

But what's important is to get the idea and to know that laughter will come at any moment and it will happen again and again.

That this laughter liberates.

A pleasant laugh that makes you feel energized and great.

What do you think of the idea that you can laugh several times today?

A pleasant laughter that gives you oxytocin,

Lowers your cortisol levels and it makes you feel less stressed.

Makes you feel happier,

More energized and great overall.

Would you like to laugh for no apparent reason for the rest of the day?

Keep breathing.

And now we're going to take a few moments to remember those moments where you were laughing openly and pleasantly.

I'm sure there have been multiple times in your life when you were laughing uncontrollably.

Moments when laughter came out like this pleasantly exploding energy.

Laughing in a pleasant way.

Laugh and laugh for the rest of your day and maybe even part of the night.

And perhaps you'll want to stop laughing at some point and think that you don't want to laugh anymore.

However,

There will always be something that will make you laugh at that moment and you will continue to enjoy uncontrollable laughter over and over throughout your day.

Now,

It's true that a part of you can resist laughing but there's always something we can do to convince those parts of you to want to laugh.

And to be able to feel the urge to laugh and laugh openly in those parts of you that resist laughing.

Perhaps in the past there have been times when someone forbade you to laugh openly.

There have also been times when someone got upset because someone laughed.

Since there are people who don't like to see others laughing,

I wonder how many times you wanted to laugh and couldn't.

Continue breathing comfortably and remember those times when you couldn't laugh in the past.

That's it.

Now remember several times when you were able to laugh and enjoyed a good laugh.

You can enjoy a more relaxed body and feel that something inside you is working to create that laughter for the next few hours.

A laugh here,

A laugh there.

You can laugh while thinking,

You can laugh without thinking.

Just laughter will come again and again and again.

Feel the calm and tranquility of this moment.

In a minute we'll finish this meditation.

That's it.

And little by little you'll feel your feet and arms becoming lighter.

And when you decide,

You'll open your eyes feeling much better,

With more energy and ready to continue with your day.

Thank you so much for listening and I'll talk to you next time.
