Hi,
My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this gradual relaxation meditation to disconnect and sleep deeply.
Lying down wherever you are,
I'm going to ask you to close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and release.
With your body laying down,
I'm gonna ask you to focus all your attention on your breath as it enters your body and leaves your body.
And at the same time,
I'm going to be focusing on different parts of your body to allow them to rest and to let go of all the tension and stress from your day.
So they can relax for the rest of the night.
Starting with your head,
Feel your face,
Your nose,
Your mouth and your whole head and relax the muscles of your face,
Your nose,
Your mouth and your whole head.
And now,
Let go of your face,
Let go of your nose,
Let go of your muscles in your mouth and your whole head.
Releasing any emotional or physical tension you may be experiencing there.
Now we're going to let go of different muscles in your body.
I'm going to ask you to let go of your neck,
Let go of your shoulders,
Let go of your arms,
Let go of your hands,
Let go of your fingers,
Let go of your arms,
Let go of your fingers and let go of your back and lower back.
And you can feel your neck relaxing more and more.
Feel your shoulders relaxing more and more,
Your arms relaxing more and more,
Your hands relaxing more and more,
Your fingers relaxing more and more,
And your back and lower back is relaxing more and more deeply.
Your chest and the muscles of your stomach are relaxing more and more,
Letting go of any tension on your chest and in your stomach,
Allowing your organs to relax more and more deeply,
Letting them do their job of repairing and healing your body while you sleep soundly,
Letting go of your intestines,
Allowing them to rest from digesting food throughout your day,
Relaxing your legs,
Relaxing your feet,
Relaxing your toes,
And relaxing the muscles on your legs,
Your feet and your toes,
Letting go of your legs,
Your feet and your toes,
Allowing them to rest for the rest of the night.
Any physical or mental tension is disappearing from your whole body and in their place there's a deep relaxation appearing all over your body,
Taking over your body as you continue to breathe,
Feeling your breath entering and leaving your body,
As you let go of your whole body and you let go of your mind,
Allowing your whole body to sleep soundly,
Deeply for the rest of the night.
Sleep.
