My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this guided meditation to find inner peace through acceptance and surrender while you sleep.
Let's begin.
Ask you to find a comfortable position in your bed and make the necessary adjustments to ensure that you feel fully supported and relaxed.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension in your body.
Once again,
Take a deep breath in and release the air.
That's it.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your attention to the present moment.
Allow your thoughts to drift away and focus only on your breath.
Inhaling deeply,
Filling your lungs with air,
Exhaling slowly,
Releasing all of the air from your body.
As you breathe deeply,
Bring to mind any feelings of discomfort or restlessness that you may be experiencing.
Acknowledge these feelings without judgment or criticism.
Simply accept them as they are,
Your self to present.
Let's imagine a soothing light surrounding you.
This light represents acceptance and understanding.
Allow this light to penetrate your body,
Surrendering to it,
Filling every inch of your being with warmth and comfort.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring to mind any negative thoughts or emotions that may be keeping you from falling asleep.
These may include worries,
Anxieties,
Or regrets.
Notice how these make you feel,
Again with no judgment or criticism.
As each thought comes to mind,
Imagine it being encapsulated in a bubble of light.
See the bubble floating away from you,
Carried by the gentle breeze.
And as the bubble disappears from view,
Allow yourself to let go of that negative thought or emotion that it is okay to feel these things,
But that you need to hold onto them.
You can now feel a sense of relief and inner peace,
Surrendering yourself to the universe and the universal light that keeps you alive with each breath.
Bring to mind positive experiences or feelings that you've had throughout your day.
These may include moments of joy,
Love,
Gratitude.
Allow yourself to fully immerse in these experiences as they ring,
Each moment as if it was happening one more time.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Allow yourself to feel fully accepted.
It's okay to feel whatever emotions you may be experiencing are exactly where you need to be in this moment.
And you best that you can,
Allowing yourself to be you in this moment.
Continue breathing and accepting yourself just as you are.
Accepting your body just the way it is.
Accepting your feelings just the way they are.
Accepting wherever you are,
Accepting where you are or is,
Or is not in your life.
Accepting your level of intelligence,
Whatever that might be.
Accepting your financial status,
Whatever that may be.
Accepting your level of happiness,
As well as accepting if there is any suffering or pain.
Accepting whatever it is,
Experiencing this moment as you continue to breathe deeply.
