Hi there,
Little dreamers.
My name is Robert Aceves,
And I welcome you to this sleep meditation,
The lion and the mouse bedtime story for kids.
It's time to snuggle up in bed and get ready for a calming adventure.
Are you ready?
Let's begin.
I'm going to ask you to gently close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in,
And slowly let it out.
Let's start by relaxing our bodies and your minds as we begin our journey into a peaceful jungle.
Once upon a time,
In a vast and beautiful jungle,
Filled with tall trees and colorful flowers,
There lived a mighty lion named Leo.
Leo was the king of the jungle,
And all the animals admired his strength and grace.
With your eyes closed,
You can imagine the warm sun shining through the leaves,
Casting gentle shadows on the ground.
Take a deep breath in,
And feel the warmth and light of the sun.
One warm afternoon,
After a big meal,
Leo decided to take a nap under a shady tree.
He stretched his powerful legs and let out a deep sigh.
Feeling the cool breeze on his fur,
Picture yourself lying under the tree like Leo,
Feeling the soft grass beneath you,
And the cool shade above you.
Breathing deeply,
Letting out all your worries as you exhale.
As Leo was dozing off,
A tiny little mouse named Mimi scurried by,
Searching for food.
Mimi was light on her feet,
And the forest floor was like a playground to her.
Picture Mimi's tiny steps,
The rustling leaves,
And the quiet sounds of the forest.
Breathe in the fresh forest air,
And feel the calmness of the jungle.
Mimi accidentally ran over Leo's paw.
Waking him up,
With a swift movement,
Leo trapped Mimi under his huge paw.
The little mouse trembled in fear,
Thinking this was the end.
But then she remembered the gentle rhythm of the forest,
And took a deep breath.
Please,
Mighty Leo,
Squeaked Mimi,
Let me go.
If you spare my life,
I promise I will help you one day.
Leo laughed at the thought of a tiny mouse helping him,
But decided to let Mimi go.
You are free,
Little one,
He said,
But remember your promise.
Imagine the relief and gratitude in Mimi's heart.
You can feel a warm,
Comforting feeling spreading throughout your own body,
As you think of kindness and forgiveness.
Days went by,
And one day,
While Leo was exploring the jungle,
He got caught in a hunter's net.
No matter how hard he tried,
He couldn't break free.
The net was strong,
And Leo felt a wave of panic.
But then he remembered the peaceful moments under the tree,
And took a deep breath to calm himself.
Loudly,
He called for help.
His voice echoed through the trees,
Reaching the ears of many animals.
Feel the sound of Leo's roar resonate through the jungle,
Strong and powerful.
As you breathe in,
Imagine drawing in strength and courage.
Mimi,
The little mouse,
Heard Leo's roar and remembered her promise,
And so she quickly ran to where Leo was trapped.
With her sharp little teeth,
She gnawed at the ropes of the net,
Until it finally broke,
Setting Leo free.
Picture Mimi's determination and Leo's growing hope,
Filled with relief and joy as you imagined the net breaking.
Leo was amazed and grateful.
Thank you,
Mimi,
He said.
I never thought you could help me,
But you have saved my life.
Mimi smiled and said,
Even the smallest creatures can make a big difference.
They both sat down under the same shady tree,
Enjoying the peace and quiet.
Imagine the soft sounds of the jungle at dusk,
The gentle rustling of leaves,
And the distant call of the birds,
And the whisper of the wind.
Breathe in the tranquility and let it fill your entire being.
Now,
Little dreamers,
Remember that no act of kindness is ever wasted,
And everyone can help in their own special way.
Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out.
Feel your body relaxing and your mind.
Imagine you are in the jungle,
Feeling safe and peaceful like Leo and Mimi.
Picture the twinkling stars above,
The cool night air,
And the comforting presence of friends nearby.
Let the gentle sounds of the jungle lull you to sleep as you reflect on the moral of the story and how you too can show kindness and help others,
No matter how small they are.
The story will help you feel more connected and compassionate in your daily life by cultivating a sense of calmness and empathy for others.
Little ones and sweet dreams.
Thank you for listening,
And talk to you soon.
Sleep.
