Hello,

And welcome to Journeys with Robert C.

Before we start,

We're going to settle our body and our nervous system down,

So that we're able to relax to the fullest.

Find yourself in a sitting position with your feet flat on the floor,

Or if you're sitting on the floor,

Cross legs in a lotus position.

Slightly rotate your hips forward so that your back gets a little more rigid.

Lift your chin parallel to the floor.

Place your hands,

Palms up,

On your lap or on your knees.

Close your eyes,

And allow your gaze to fall between your eyebrows.

You're now in the most receptive position to receive spiritual guidance,

Answers,

And to relax into the next 10 minutes of this meditation.

Now,

Release all of the air out of your lungs through your nose.

And now draw in a big breath through your nose,

And hold.

Hold.

And release and relax.

Draw in another breath through your nose,

And hold.

Hold.

And release and relax.

One last time,

Draw in a big breath through your nose.

Hold.

And release and relax.

Soften and relax.

Lift your chin parallel,

Straighten your back,

And relax.

As you walk down a dock that extends into a beautiful mountain lake,

You see a small rowboat.

The water is so clear.

It's cold to the touch.

The sky is beautiful.

So blue.

Puffy white clouds float by.

A slight breeze in the air.

Summer flowers blooming someplace.

The rustle of leaves in the trees.

You climb into the boat.

And you push from the dock.

Hold the oars in your hands.

And gently row.

And row.

So easy.

And row.

You hear the little waves lap against the hull.

You let your hands drift over the side.

You feel the cool water from the mountain.

And know that it has flown through here since the beginning of time.

Over and over and over.

It's the same water that flowed out a million years ago,

And the rains have brought it back.

And you are part of that flow.

Now set the oars into the boat.

And lean back and stretch out on the boat.

Feeling the easy drift back and forth.

The warm sun on your skin.

You hear the wind blowing.

So light.

The lap,

Lap,

Lap against the hull.

It's a peaceful place.

And then you realize that all of your cares are gone.

The worries,

The problems,

They just have slipped away.

And all is as it should be.

As it will ever be.

And you smile.

Deeply happy.

Satisfied with what is.

And how it's turned out.

Your gratitude is as warm as the sun.

You think about all those you love and the connections you share with everyone.

And your heart is so full as you relax and drift.

It's a beautiful time.

Relax and drift.

The easy rocking of the waves.

Slowly,

Slowly eases every tension from you.

And the sun feels so good.

And as you start to wrestle a little bit and recognize just the beauty around you.

The trees and the mountains and the clear lake.

You look over the side and oh my god how beautiful it is.

Stunning.

Beautiful,

Beautiful scenery.

It's amazing.

You take your oars of your rowboat.

You spin the boat around.

And you slowly and easily row by row,

Stroke by stroke,

Head back to the dock.

It's an easy motion.

There's no stress,

No strain.

Simple row and a row.

There's a smile on your face.

And as you slide up to the dock,

You tie off your boat.

Slip your legs up onto the dock and climb up.

You turn and face the lake,

The wind blowing on your face,

The sun warming your skin.

And you say thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you for being alive.

For this beautiful body,

This grace that's been given me.

Thank you.

You walk down the dock.

Slowly walk away.

Relax.

Relax.

Thank you for joining me in this journey.

Take your time and when you're ready,

Open your eyes.
