Easy and effective morning meditation to start the day off right. By opening and relaxing to the moment, we enable our ability to respond to situations instead of reacting. When we respond, we make better choices and have better outcomes. Simple, easy, and relaxing is this meditation that anyone can do.

Good morning.

Welcome to this morning meditation.

It's a simple,

Short meditation to get you centered for the day.

It's intended to relax you,

Slow you down a little bit,

Get you into the motion of response as opposed to reacting.

Responding is more thoughtful.

It's creative.

It's opening and it's relaxing.

Feels good.

So let's get ourselves situated and settled so that we can open up our day to the possibilities of really,

Really good choices.

Just things that benefit us.

All right,

We're going to start with a breathing exercise and here's what I want us to do.

I want you to get settled in a chair or if you're sitting on the floor,

Relaxed.

Take your palms and turn them upward,

Open towards the sky and put on your lap.

Next I want you to close your eyes,

Lift your chin parallel to the floor and rotate your hips slightly forward so that your back becomes a little bit more arched and rigid.

There you go.

Now you're in a very receptive position to receive knowledge,

Take in relaxation and to simply step into this meditation.

All right,

Now for our breathing exercise,

We're going to inhale through our nose.

We're going to hold our breath for a 10 count and then we're going to release through our nose very easily.

We're going to do that three times and then we'll go into a very simple meditation.

Here we go.

All right.

Exhale through your nose.

Inhale through your nose and hold.

And release.

Inhale and hold.

And release.

Inhale and hold.

And release.

Let's get a catch up breath and let that go.

Open and relax.

Ease into this process and let the nerves and your feelings and any emotions just relax and relax and relax.

If you find your mind wandering,

That's okay.

That's what the mind does.

And if you find it wandering too far off,

Treat it like a little puppy and bring it back back to this moment and relax.

Open and relax.

Your day ahead is completely under your control and how you choose to embrace the day will change how you respond to the day.

We want to respond with love,

With kindness,

With confidence.

We want to ease our way from decision to decision,

Making the appropriate choice in the moment as we go on to the next thing.

Consider the thing you worry the most about.

Maybe it's somebody's health.

Maybe it's your health.

Maybe it's a family member who's going through a hard time.

Maybe bills have piled up.

Your work situation is getting difficult.

You had a conflict with a friend.

I want you to take that situation and wrap it with love.

And say to yourself,

It's all okay.

It's all okay.

It's all okay.

I have a wonderful life and life is wonderful.

Today is a good day and I am a good person.

Open and relax.

We're going to go into our meditation and I'll keep an eye on the clock and I'll come back and bring us back together as we wrap this up.

We're going to come back together as we wrap this up.

You you now Slowly bring your awareness back to the room that you are in consider this journey that we've had together remember your day is your day you have the choice of attitude you have the choice of worthiness you make great decisions everyday is a beautiful day make today another beautiful day thank you for joining me and enjoy the rest of this music bye bye you you you you
