Hello,

I'm Robert Christensen,

Thank you for joining me.

Time to pause,

Relax,

And make room in the day for you.

Close your eyes,

Relax your shoulders,

And inhale softly through your nose.

At this moment,

There is nothing wrong,

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to be.

In this moment,

You and I are here now.

Become aware of your body,

How it feels,

And where it may be holding tension.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Let your body begin to relax.

Imagine that you are breathing in relaxation.

Breathe through your nose,

Forcefully blowing out the air through your mouth,

And imagine expelling tension.

You can do it with me.

Breathe in,

And exhale the tension.

Let's do it again.

Breathe in,

And exhale the tension.

Continue to take calm breaths as you focus on relaxing your body.

Notice how each area of your body I mention relaxes when you hear the word relax.

Knees on your feet,

Relax,

Ankles,

Relax,

Lower legs,

Relax,

Knees,

Relax,

Upper legs,

Relax,

Hips,

Relax,

Relax,

Hands,

Relax,

Neck,

Relax,

Face,

Relax,

Head,

Relax,

Mind,

Relax.

Scan your body now for any remaining areas of tension.

Focus your attention on these areas.

Say the words of the area of your body,

Followed by the word relax.

Now that your body has relaxed,

I'll introduce some more words to cue relaxation.

With each breath in,

Say in your mind,

Breathe.

With each breath out,

Say mentally,

Relax.

Allow these words to relax you fully.

Each time you hear them,

Your body and mind become even more relaxed and calm.

Let these relaxing cue words fill your mind.

I'll guide you for a few minutes,

And then I will go silent while you continue to repeat the cue words.

With each breath,

Repeat these cues.

Relax.

Breathe.

Relax.

Breathe.

Relax.

You are now completely relaxed,

Comfortable,

And at peace.

Observe this feeling of relaxation.

Memorize it.

Notice how calm you are.

Notice your breathing is slow and regular,

Peaceful,

Pleasant,

And relaxed.

Keep this feeling of relaxation with you as you become more alert and awake to return to your day.

Let your body and mind reawaken.

Move your toes.

Wiggle your fingers.

Shrug your shoulders.

Stretch your arms.

Take a deep breath in.

And release.

Big sigh.

Let's do that again.

Big breath in.

And release.

Let your body and your mind return to the usual level of alertness,

And wakefulness,

And calm.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Open your eyes.

And relax.

Very good. Only the breath pace suggested was way too fast since we are in relaxed state.
