Hello everyone and welcome.
My name is Bailey Raine and today I'm gonna be guiding you through a sound meditation.
Through today's meditation we will just be focusing on our breath and relaxing our body.
Letting go of stress from the week,
Worries,
Concerns,
Allowing ourselves to go deeply inward.
So with that in mind I invite you to find a very comfortable seated position either in a chair,
On the floor,
Or even lying down if that feels in alignment for you.
Take any last wiggles or adjustments that you need to get comfortable.
Once you're settled in I'll invite you to take a mental scan from the crown of your head all the way to the tips of your toes.
Observe any places of tension,
Resistance,
Tightness.
Don't judge them,
Just observe them as they are in this moment.
And from that awareness start to soften between the eyebrows and relax the bridge of your nose.
The skin over your cheekbones are soft and the jaw relaxed.
The shoulders begin to melt down away from the ears.
The fingertips find softness.
There's a settling,
A surrender that floats across the heart space.
Your belly is relaxed and maybe you even feel your heartbeat here.
Relax any tension out of the quads,
The hip flexors,
All the way down through the toes.
There's nothing you need to do.
There's nowhere you need to be.
So allow yourself to let go.
Begin to bring awareness to your breath.
Allowing the inhales to deepen and exhales to surrender.
Deep inhale.
Full exhale.
Allowing any sound you need to release with each exhale that comes.
You allow yourself the freedom to let go.
The freedom to just be right here and right now.
With each deep breath you allow yourself to sink further and further into this present moment,
Into your body.
Into this present moment,
Into your body.
You let something go with each exhale you take.
You understand that nothing before this moment matters anymore.
It holds no power over you.
You hold the power to breathe deeply right here,
Right now.
That is your freedom.
That is your sovereignty.
Take another deep breath in.
Full exhale out.
Allow yourself to just be.
Take a deep,
Fulfilling breath here in this bliss that you've found.
Onto this energy that you've found.
As you gently begin to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
Take a deep breath in.
Sweep the arms up overhead,
Lengthening through the spine.
Exhale,
Palms to heart center,
Pressing the thumbs against the sternum.
You are safe.
You are loved.
Love and light.
