The Sun and Moon Meditation to clear emotional stagnation and establish physical,
Emotional,
And spiritual clarity.
Begin from a sitting or standing Wuji posture.
The feet are flat on the ground.
The hips are rooting down towards the earth.
The spine elongates up and the head reaches towards the heavens.
If you are seated place your hands palms down on the top of your thighs.
If you are standing place your palms in front of you at hip height palms facing the ground.
Imagine the Sun above the head over the left eye and the moon above the head over the right eye.
The Sun and Moon appear side by side over your head.
Feel their presence over the Bai Hui point,
The point at the top of your head.
Imagine that the Sun on the left side of your body pours golden light and the moon on the right side of your body pours down silver light.
Both streams of light meet at the Bai Hui point on the top of the head combining into white light energy.
This white light energy pours into your body filling your entire body from the feet to the top of your head like a picture filling a glass of water.
Once the body is completely full the energy begins to spill out of your pores.
At first a thick black sticky energy pours out of the pores and flows down to the ground.
This energy contains all the physical,
Mental,
Emotional and spiritual toxins that are being released from your body.
As more and more of these toxic substances leave your body they start turning from black to gray then from gray to white.
Feel your body radiate this white energy in all six directions.
Front,
Back,
Right,
Left,
Up and down.
This energy fills the entire room.
Continue to visualize this energy radiating this white energy pouring from you in all six directions.
Continue to breathe deeply through your nose inhaling and exhaling.
Your energy is cleansing.
You're clearing and letting go.
The Sun and Moon energy continues to purge and tonify your body relaxing your mind.
With your next inhale begin to focus your attention on your lower dantian.
This is the area behind and just below your navel.
Breathe deeply as you inhale expanding the lower dantian as the diaphragm fills and as you exhale squeezing the lower dantian in pressing out all of the air in your lungs.
Do one more deep breath focusing on the lower dantian.
Return to a natural breath continuing to focus at the lower dantian feeling the energy gathered and collected ready for you to use at any time you need.
Take one more natural breath before ending the meditation.
