Make sure that you've got whatever you need to get comfortable here for our Shavasana.
Yeah,
Maybe you want something under your head,
Something over your body.
Make sure that your feet are falling away,
Your palms are facing upwards,
And really give in to the force of gravity,
How the earth just effortlessly supports you,
And how there's nothing you need to do or undo.
Just feel your effortless presence,
Like here and now.
Noticing the breath coming and going effortlessly.
Just feel how as you let the body go,
It lets you go.
Just feel the heels pressing into the ground,
Feeling those two points letting go.
Feeling the backs of the legs just releasing and letting go.
Feeling the buttocks on the mat,
Sensing the whole back of the body surrendered into the floor,
Connecting with the shoulders and the shoulder plates,
The backs of the arms and the elbows and the forearms and the wrists,
And even sensing the neck and the head,
Everything letting go.
And see if you can,
In your mind's eye,
Look back at your body resting on the earth,
On the floor.
And just get a sense of yourself and the space around you.
Maybe you're in a room,
Maybe you're outside,
But just have a sense of the space around your body.
And then feel yourself floating up so that you're actually looking at yourself lying either inside your home,
It's almost like you're outside of your home looking inside,
Or if you're outside in the garden,
You're looking at yourself lying there,
A small person with a house next to you.
And then feel yourself zooming out so that you can almost see the whole neighborhood around the house,
As if you were like a satellite taking a photo.
And then zoom out even further so that you have a sense of the whole island that you're on,
Whether it's the island of Australia or the island of England.
Just have that sense that you're gazing at the island that you're on.
And then zoom yourself out further until you can see the earth.
All earth is in your vision,
Like you're out in space looking at the earth.
And then zoom yourself out even further so that you can see the whole Milky Way.
And then keep zooming yourself out until you sense the universe,
The whole universe containing the Milky Way,
Containing the galaxy.
And let yourself zoom right out until all the galaxies are within your presence,
That awareness,
That consciousness in whom all creation plays out.
Just let yourself rest here for a moment in the endless space of awareness.
And then slowly,
Like being drawn back and pulled back,
But ever so gently,
Feel yourself moving back to that point where you're able to see just our Milky Way galaxy.
Drawing yourself back till you see that third planet from the Sun,
Our beautiful Earth.
Feeling yourself drawn back to where you can focus on just your island home.
Feeling yourself being drawn right to your neighborhood,
Houses around you.
And yourself being drawn to your house.
And then just to your body.
And then just gently come back into your body and feel the breath in your body.
Just being present again with the effortlessness of your breath.
Mariah,
O nammo.
Mariah,
Naya,
O nammo.
Mariah,
Naya,
O nammo.
Mariah,
Naya.
So slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Gently moving your fingers and your toes.
Just take your time.
You might feel like stretching or you might feel like rolling to your side.
Each is what feels the most nurturing for you today.
And just coming up to a comfortable seat.
You can come into any kind of mudra or hand position that feels nice for you.
And just in these last few moments just honoring your breath,
Your body,
All the gifts that you have.
And wishing you a super wonderful rest of your day.
Namaste.
