This is Rachel.

Welcome to your guided meditation.

As I invite you to relax today,

Please find a comfortable position.

You can either sit with your legs crossed with a support at your back or you can lie down with your arms down at your side,

Legs out straight,

Heels slightly apart with your toes falling outward.

Now I invite you to close your eyes down and gently gaze upward and inward to the point between your eyebrows.

And then I invite you to become aware of your breath.

I'm going to guide you with some cleansing breaths.

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

I'm going to count you up and down to a count of four.

So getting ready to prepare.

Inhaling two three four exhaling three two one.

Inhaling two three four.

Exhaling three two one.

Inhaling two three four.

Exhaling three two one.

Now just let the breath go.

Let it find its natural rhythm.

Don't force it or change it.

Just allow it to be what it wants to be and eventually throughout the meditation the breath will be breathing you.

I invite you to become aware of your tailbone.

Sending your awareness to your tailbone.

Visualize a red circle spinning clockwise.

Allowing this energy,

This red circle,

To expand to your tailbone over the hips.

This is the energy center of grounding,

Security and safety.

On your next inhale,

Breathe up just below the navel between the hips and visualize a bright orange circle spinning clockwise.

This is the energy center of creativity,

Sexuality and where we process our feelings and emotions.

On your next inhale,

Breathe up over the navel to your solar plexus.

Visualizing a bright yellow circle spinning clockwise.

This is the energy center of your personal power,

Your personal responsibility.

On your next inhale,

Breathing up into the lungs into the heart area.

Visualizing a beautiful emerald green color spinning clockwise.

This green is the color of healing and the color of love and compassion.

On your next inhale,

Breathe up to the shoulder and neck area.

Visualizing a beautiful cobalt blue circle spinning clockwise.

This is our center of communication where we speak clearly and listen clearly from truth.

On your next inhale,

Breathe over your face just bringing your awareness to the point between your eyebrows.

This is the energy center of intuition,

Higher insight and higher wisdom and the spiritual third eye.

Visualize an indigo circle spinning clockwise.

Continuing to breathe,

Move your awareness to the top of your head to your crown.

This is where we receive.

Visualize a violet white light coming from above,

Pouring in through the top of your head to set your intention to receive.

In this moment you can call upon your higher power or your higher self,

Whatever feels right for you.

I invite you on a guided visualization.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine yourself at the top of a stairway.

This stairway has ten steps and between each step I'm going to count you down as you take a breath.

So listening to the sound of my voice.

Ten.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And now you find yourself standing at the bottom of the stairs.

In front of you there's a long hallway.

As you continue to walk down this hallway you'll pass a door on your right and then you'll come up to a door on the left.

You turn and face this door.

You put your hand on the handle and notice that the door opens very easily,

Almost as if it was expecting you.

And as you enter this room,

The room feels familiar to you.

You recognize this room as a room from your childhood.

You notice the walls of this room.

You notice the carpet.

You notice the color of the walls and the color of the carpet.

You notice the furniture in the room.

The art on the walls.

Perhaps there's a familiar smell.

Notice how you feel as you stand inside this room from your childhood.

Continue to walk around this room,

Just taking notice of things around.

And then you become aware of a presence in the corner of the room.

You notice a small desk and chair sitting there and you start to walk over to that side of the room.

As you get closer to this desk and chair you notice that there is a child sitting there and you kneel down so that you can meet them at eye level.

They turn to look at you.

Your eyes meet their gaze and you recognize this child is a younger version of yourself.

Notice how you feel as you see them.

Notice their expression when they look at you.

The younger you has a special message they wish to give to you.

They've written it for you with crayon on a piece of paper.

With your open hands and your open heart you receive this message.

Notice how you feel as you read this message from the younger you.

Now take a moment to reply to the younger you with a hug or words or a gesture.

Notice how the younger you receives you.

Are they shy?

Are they happy?

Are they nervous?

Are they elated?

A part of you feels as though you would like to invite the younger you to come with you out of this room.

So you turn to them and ask them if they would like to come with you.

You wait for their response.

If the younger you wishes to stay in this room then you let them stay.

Tell them that you were so happy to see them and that you'll be back another day to visit with them.

If the younger you wishes to come with you reach out for their hand.

Take their hand in yours and walk with them towards the door.

So either if you are by yourself or together walk towards the door of this room taking one last look around just noticing something in particular that might please you.

Going back through the door into the corridor firmly closing that door behind you knowing you can return to this room anytime you choose.

You continue to walk back towards the bottom of the stairs where you started.

As you listen to my voice I will guide you back up the stairs to the top to the count of ten.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

Eight.

Nine.

And ten.

As you take an inhale you see yourself standing at the top of the stairs either by yourself or with your little one still holding their hand.

Notice how you feel.

As you take another inhale I invite you to become more aware of your body.

Gently wiggle your fingers or toes.

Slowly flutter your eyes open becoming aware of the surroundings around you knowing you can return to this place anytime you choose and if your little one has come with you rejoice and having them back together with you.

If you feel any emotions know that this is completely normal.

Just be present with all that arises without any judgments.
