This is a short yoga nidra experience inspired by the imagery and essence of stardust gently falling on soil, ethereal yet grounding and nourishing. I welcome you to rest and enjoy this relaxation whether you are calming and rejuvenating during the day, or preparing for sleep, there is no abrupt ending or awakening so you can use this meditation as you wish! The rotation of consciousness is intuitive and felt fitting for this piece, and the imagery is called upon to settle into your soul and soothe the overactive mind.

Welcome to this yoga nidra,

Like stardust on soil.

You can lie down and get comfortable and cosy,

Allowing your whole body and being to begin to settle,

Finding the most comfortable position for you today,

Lying on your back or simply reclining,

Just adjusting and adapting to what feels best for you right now.

Allowing a wave of comfort and relaxation to greet you now,

Effortlessly sweeping through your whole body,

Allowing the mind to begin to slow down and settle,

With the gentle intention to do so.

Let your breath be soft and natural in and out of your nose,

Allowing a sigh of release in the nose and out the mouth anytime that feels natural for you.

Inspired by the energy,

The idea of stardust gently falling on soil,

We welcome in a softness,

A serenity and a sense of peace,

Allowing your whole body to be,

We begin this journey,

Gently flowing your awareness from point to point,

Just relaxing and listening,

Bringing your awareness to just above the crown of your head,

And sensing into the crown of your head,

Allowing this imagery to move through you as you listen,

With soft,

Subtle awareness,

Letting it all be,

A full moon in a clear morning sky,

A full moon in a clear morning sky,

A city at sunrise,

Quiet and peaceful,

A city at sunrise,

Quiet and peaceful,

Music in the distance on a summer's night,

Music in the distance on a summer's night,

A shooting star,

A shooting star,

Sunlight on water,

Sunlight on water,

Thunder and lightning in the distance,

Thunder and lightning in the distance,

A cosy cabin on a rainy day,

A cosy cabin on a rainy day,

A mountain stream delicately flowing,

A mountain stream delicately flowing,

Stardust on soil,

Stardust on soil,

Stardust gently falling on soil.

Let yourself rest here now.

If you are drifting off to sleep,

You can let yourself peacefully drift and rest,

Nourishing yourself so effortlessly.

If you are returning to waking,

Slowly,

Gently trusting your own timing and your own knowing,

Bringing your awareness back into the centre of your being,

Feeling a freshness and aliveness,

And if you'd like to,

You can gently roll on your side,

Allowing all of these sensations,

All of this depth to slowly integrate and become you,

Allowing this essence of stardust on soil to emanate throughout your own atmosphere,

Your own way of being,

As you move through your day or as you drift into rest.

Thank you for listening.

Beautiful voice. Asleep before it is over. My new favorite. Stardust and Earth (soil). Two of my favorite things. Thank you. Will keep listening. I want to hear the end. 😊
