Thank you for joining me for this 11th step prayer Higher power,
Please direct our thinking,
Especially divorce it from self-pity,
Dishonest,
And self-seeking motives As we go through this day and face indecision,
Please give us inspiration,
An intuitive thought or decision,
Make us relax and take it easy,
Don't let us struggle Make us rely upon the inspiration,
Intuitive thoughts and decisions derived from you instead of our old ideas Show us all through this day what our next step is to be and give us whatever we need to take care of each problem Higher power,
We ask you especially for freedom from self-will and we make no requests for ourselves only but do give us the knowledge of your will for us and the power to carry that out in every contact during this day As we go through this day,
Make us pause when agitated or doubtful and ask you for the right thought or action Constantly remind us that we are no longer running the show,
Humbly saying many times a day,
Thy will be done and agreeing that it is We will then be in much less danger of unhealthy excitement,
Fear,
Anger,
Worry,
Anxiety,
Self-pity,
Or foolish decisions We will be more efficient,
We won't be burning up energy foolishly as we were when we were trying to run life to suit ourselves We will let you train us in this simple way We will give you all the responsibility and the praise Amen
