Hello and welcome to this week's guided meditation.
Come to a comfortable and relaxed seated position however feels most authentic to you.
Just take a moment,
Arrive in the present and be here with me now.
Take a moment to slow down,
Close your eyes and go within.
Inhale,
Fill your belly up with deep nourishing breath.
Hold it for a moment and release it with a sigh,
Allowing yourself to ground into the moment.
Continue to breathe deeply and fully as we move through this meditation.
When was the last time that you took a moment to really be with yourself?
To feel and acknowledge how you're feeling in the moment.
It can be so tempting in our busy world to rush from one thing to the next without really taking a moment to tune in to where you're at and what you need right now.
Place one hand over your heart and begin to check in with your body.
How is your body feeling right now?
Do you feel lightness and ease?
Are there any areas of pain,
Tension or discomfort?
What is the overall quality of how your body is feeling right now?
Don't judge where you're at,
Tense against it or even try to change it.
Just noticing where your body's at and being with the sensation of it,
Holding a spacious and loving presence for all things to be.
Let your hand come to rest in your lap and feel where you're at emotionally.
Do you feel tired,
Peaceful,
Excited,
Anxious,
Balanced?
Take a deep breath and simply be with it,
Feeling the is-ness of it.
Continue to breathe deeply and fully as you witness yourself with the loving kindness and compassion of a parent with a child,
Simply honoring your place in this moment and being with it.
There's no need to change how you're feeling,
No need to move away from it or distract yourself.
Just really take a moment to be here now with how you feel in this moment.
Let it be okay.
Take as long as you need and just sit here with yourself until you feel seen,
Heard and understood by your own loving presence and attention.
See if there's any messages or needs to address that come up as you sit here and acknowledge them.
You are worth this loving time and attention with your body,
Mind and spirit.
Rest with yourself,
Hold space for yourself,
And when you're ready,
With loving kindness,
Speak silently to your whole self,
I see you.
You are a blessing as you are.
Namaste.
