
Vagus Nerve Activation, Healing Guided Meditation

This guided meditation will help you reset, activate your vagus nerve, heal your body, reconnect your brain with your nervous system. You will be guided into deep relaxation with an option to fall asleep and allow for the vagus nerve, nervous system and body to continue to repair.

This is Rasa Lukashyuta.
Welcome to your guided meditation.
This guided meditation was designed to help you connect and reset your vagus nerve.
This guided practice will boost your immune system,
Reconnect your body and brain and increase feelings of well-being and calmness.
The vagus nerve is the longest and most complex nerve in the human body.
It extends from the brain stem down to the chest and the abdomen to the pelvis.
It controls many important functions including heart rate,
Digestion and immune responses.
It also activates our parasympathetic nervous system and our ability to rest,
Digest and repair.
A healthy and balanced vagus nerve provides a sense of safety and calmness in social interactions and within our own body.
When the vagal tone is low,
It is associated with inflammation and digestive issues,
Anxiety or depression,
Heart problems,
Brain fog and memory issues or even prolonged sense of loneliness.
During this meditation,
We will focus on the body,
Inner energy,
The breath,
The path of the vagus nerve to help activate and stimulate it to promote healing and relaxation.
Now,
Find a comfortable position where you can sit or lie down comfortably.
Make sure that you have no distractions around you and that you can stay in this space for the duration of the guided meditation.
If you wish,
You can use this meditation at night for deep relaxation and an overnight repair as you drift off to sleep following the vagus nerve activation and healing practice.
Allow yourself to begin to drift off in a state of deep relaxation knowing that you are safe and supported.
Breathe slightly deeper and a little slower.
Feel your body becoming more and more relaxed.
As you breathe in,
Feel the breath move down into your belly.
Let your belly expand as you breathe in deeply.
As you breathe out,
Feel your body release any tension that you may be holding onto.
Repeat this way a few more times,
Feeling your body become more and more relaxed.
Now,
Focus your attention on your heart.
Feel the way your heart beats.
Feel the sensation of your heart pumping blood through your body.
Focus to feel the sensation of your heart beating in your chest.
Now imagine that your heart is sending a wave of energy down through your whole body.
As this wave of energy flows through your body,
It also begins to gently awaken the vagus nerve from its top at the cranium,
Your skull.
Feeling down your face,
Your neck,
Your chest and your upper body.
Feel the wave of energy from your heart flow through your body following the path of the vagus nerve down into your stomach.
This important nerve touches various organs including the heart,
The lungs and vital organs in your stomach.
Give this flowing energy a special colour today.
Visualise it.
Feel it flow.
You may feel a tingling sensation or a sense of deep relaxation.
Let your body relax,
Knowing that you are safe and supported within this practice.
Through mindful breath and feelings of well-being,
Feeling safe,
The vagus nerve begins to reset itself.
The body shifts into a state of deep relaxation and healing on a cellular level.
Continue to breathe mindfully,
Focusing on the sensation of the wave of energy flowing through your body.
Release any expectations of how this experience should be and simply allow yourself to drift on the sensations that you are feeling.
Now imagine that a wave of energy is flowing from your heart,
Down through your body and out through your feet.
As this wave of energy flows out through your feet,
It grounds you and connects you to the earth.
Feel the wave of energy flowing through your body and out through your feet.
Feel the connection between your body and the earth.
Release all the stress and fears to flow away with this energy into the ground.
The earth will transform this energy for you.
Imagine that a wave of loving energy is flowing back up through your body,
Through the vagus nerve and into your heart.
As this wave of energy flows back into your heart,
Feel it to fill you with a sense of peace and calm.
Notice the sense of peace and deep calm that is filling your body.
Now ignite a feeling of tranquility,
Love and healing inside of your heart.
Let it ignite like a glowing fire.
Feeling thankful to be here,
Supported and alive.
Feel the pulsating warmth of love in your heart.
Feel and feel tranquility,
Love and healing in your heart to gently expand.
Imagine that waves of this energy is flowing out through your heart and into the world.
Notice that you are now radiating this pure and peaceful energy,
Offering it outward.
Now feel this wave of energy flowing back into your heart.
As this wave of energy flows back into your heart,
It fills you with a sense of true peace and stability.
Let all this energy to flow to the top of your head.
Allow it to come down slowly through your brain into your vagus nerve.
Notice your vagus nerve extending from your brain down into your body like the roots of a strong and vibrant tree.
Imagine the main root very slowly and gently twisting clockwise down your spine.
Feel that all the energy you cultivated and its vibrant colour is now slowly flowing down your body deep through your vagus nerve.
The energy lights up brighter.
It begins to activate to balance your vagus nerve.
The energy reaches your heart.
Notice it softly connecting with your heart.
Feel your vagus nerve sending calming signals together with the wave of energy from your brain down into your heart.
Feeling the calming energy through the whole body.
Feeling healing and repair in every cell.
Feel that from this vagus nerve root you visualised,
Smaller roots are spreading sideways into your neck and chest area.
The healing and balancing energy is now flowing also through these smaller roots filling your whole upper body full of new,
Restorative and balancing energy.
Now imagine that the vagus nerve and the glow of energy continuing its journey down around your spine.
Extending down into your stomach.
See the root of the vagus nerve to reach down into your stomach and connect with your digestive system.
Feel your digestive system reset gently and naturally.
Feel it to begin to balance itself with the inner light healing energy.
Notice the smaller roots of the vagus nerve spreading sideways into your body.
Carrying through the energy of equilibrium and repair.
Continuing down and across.
Glowing.
Pulsating.
Activating.
Balancing.
Now continue the wave of tranquillity,
Love and healing energy to flow to the lower part and the end of your spine.
Let it grow further down through your legs.
When it reaches your feet,
Feel the roots connecting with the earth.
Your vagus nerve is now fully activated and is starting to glow really bright and soothing light.
Feel the warmth that is now flowing and extending inside and through your vagus nerve.
Feel its activated healthy glow to touch and hug all the organs and tissue around it.
Feel the warmth of the energy that is flowing inside your vagus nerve.
Feel the energy flow into your whole body and every cell of your being.
Notice these waves of light energy reach each cell in your body.
Notice the cells absorbing the light and becoming energized and perfectly balanced.
Feel your vagal tone to increase as if your whole nervous system is receiving an electric charge.
Feel what that does to your body and its energy tones.
Notice your vagus nerve to glow in its replenished full strength,
Governing and protecting,
Balancing and supporting your body and its functions.
Feel your body to overflow with tranquility,
Love and healing.
See the light to fill your whole body,
Inducing a sense of warmth and relaxation.
Visualize any remaining stress,
Worry or fears that you may be holding onto.
Feel it dissolve away in this light.
Your breathing is calm and natural.
The glow of tranquility,
Love and healing is flowing through each cell.
You are safe and supported,
Balanced and deeply peaceful.
Your energy is levelled.
Feeling intentions and emotions seem so much easier right now.
Your focus is soft,
Yet precise.
You are a master of your body,
Your thoughts,
Your life.
Your vagus nerve activation and healing session is now complete.
