Take a deep breath.
Let all the noise drift away.
Let's clock out and tune in.
Here is a meditation for when it's time to slow down.
This is a meditation for stressed souls and rushed minds everywhere.
This is your time to slow down,
To relax,
To free your soul of stress and anxiety.
Also culture,
Financial burdens,
Mental chaos,
The judgments of our conditioning,
And the injustices experienced all around the world have a way of eclipsing our peace.
This is your chance to say no more.
This is your chance to focus on that peace,
To just be,
And to just be present with your presence.
This meditation may be best to soak in outside,
Sitting under a tree in the park for example,
Or while soaking in sun rays on the soft sands of your local beach.
You may find moving your meditation pillow to your front porch,
Balcony,
Or backyard oasis works best for you too.
Do what feels right for you,
Beloved.
Sitting comfortably or resting on your back,
Notice the rhythm of the breath at its natural pace.
Is it rushed?
Is it calm?
Does it reach your root?
Observe how its cadence flows almost in unison with the passing breeze.
Maybe you find that closing your eyes will help you connect with the tempo of your breath.
If it feels appropriate,
Gently close your eyes now.
Breathe deep into your belly,
Inhaling the natural unadulterated essence all around you.
You're the wildlife pitter-patting,
Singing,
Swaying,
Thriving all around you.
Can you hear the branches dancing in the wind?
Or baby birds chirping off in the distance?
Take it all in with gratitude for this level of awareness,
For this conscious state of being.
Exhale fully and slowly now,
Completely emptying your lungs of stressed,
Hasty,
And scrambled energy.
Let all that scattered energy pour out of you now as you sink deeper into relaxation with ease.
Keep this steady pace of your breathing.
Notice where you're breathing from.
From your core,
Notice the subtle rise and fall of your belly.
If from your heart space,
Notice how your chest lightly expands and recedes like the ocean tides.
Commit to this moment of pause with an unhurried countdown.
With each number,
Your presence gains strength.
Your connection with the divine heightens.
The more your surroundings calm you,
The more you'll be able to feel the energy of your body.
The more your surroundings calm you,
The more vivid and serene your mental paradise becomes.
Counting backwards now.
Five.
Feel the sunlight dance on your skin.
Four.
Feel your heart space expand with nature's song.
Three.
Let the warm air guide you into tranquility.
Two.
Find your mental space clearing up with the passing of the clouds.
One.
Descend into stillness.
Now that you are here,
Bathing in your earthless serenity,
Focus on your core.
Breathe into your navel.
And ask yourself,
How does it feel to slow down?
To hit pause on life.
To venture or step outside of anxiety.
To experience life without conflict.
Let your solar plexus chakras speak to you now.
Feel as answers rise from your stomach.
How does it feel to relax?
To create a moment of calm for yourself today.
To experience this moment of calm,
Maybe for the first time today.
How does it feel to take up space without permission?
To be present without somewhere to be.
Allow your life force energy to be receptive of this awakening quietude.
Allow your life force energy to be receptive of this quiet awakening.
Continue to follow whatever is coming up for you now.
How does it feel to see the world outside of yourself?
To tune in to the dreaminess of existence without the shoulds,
Woulds,
Coulds.
Without the burden of time,
Shame,
Guilt,
Or even judgment.
So you could instead use that time to marinate in stillness.
Hear the voice within affirm you now,
Beloved.
Let the animation of spirit comfort and console you.
Know that you owe no explanations to pause,
Slow down,
Set boundaries,
Or engage with life.
You are allowed to sit with simple joys.
You are allowed to minimize your intake.
You are allowed to maximize your peace and presence.
You are allowed to maximize your existence.
With each day,
Continue to validate the importance of rest.
With each second of every day,
Continue to find calm in the chaos of life.
There's power in silence.
There's strength in slowing down.
Whatever you are,
Whatever you have accomplished,
How you are fulfilled,
How you choose to rest and recharge,
It is enough.
You are enough.
You in your genuine state of being is enough.
You finding your calm is enough.
You finding your rhythm is enough.
It is all enough.
You deserve to pause,
To take a break.
Breathe easy and to allow yourself to be.
You deserve relief from the chaos and piling pressures of life.
With your next inhale,
Invite calmness into your heart,
Into your life.
Observe how does it feel to give yourself permission to be content?
With your next exhale,
Free yourself from the turbulence of life.
Observe how does it feel to release fear,
Stress,
Pressure,
Judgment,
And anxiety.
Continue breathing slowly with intention and presence.
Feel how you are supported by time,
Supported by life,
How you are surrounded by universal love.
On this day,
At this time,
For every day,
Every moment,
And every breath you are blessed to receive.
Feel this love and everlasting peace grow inside of you now as you come back to a state of awareness.
See it expand beyond your energy field.
Counting back now,
Counting back now,
Five,
Let the chatter of busy streets tickle your ears.
Four,
Let the warm air brushing against your skin wake you back up to your body.
Three,
Express gratitude for the earth and the matter beneath you,
For how they've supported you during this meditation.
Two,
Become aware of every variety of white noise you can identify now.
One,
Begin to color reality with your mind.
Take all the time you need to come back to a full state of awareness.
As you regain clarity,
Commit to a stress-free life and self as you go on with your day,
As you continue to walk your path,
And as you continue to journey through the rest of time.
Trust your pace,
Beloved.
Honor your presence.
Remember the equilibrium of our world.
Remember how you flourish in stillness.
How you flourish in stillness.
Scale back,
Slow down,
And press pause however you please,
Whenever you need to.
At any time,
You can unplug and you are allowed to disconnect.
Thank you so much for being here.
Peace,
Blessings,
And namaste,
Beloved.
