Find a comfortable place and position to rest and relax.
Leave all distractions behind.
Close your eyes and breathe in deep.
As you exhale let your shoulders drop.
Take another deep breath deep into your belly.
As you exhale imagine all your stress and worries exiting your body with your breath.
If you're still holding tension go ahead and take another deep breath and really exhale that energy you need to let go of.
Let your body release all tension and go within.
Surrender the moment.
Here within you're free to dissolve what your outer world bounds you by.
Here there is no future pressure or stress and there is no past pain.
All you have is now.
The truth is that is all we have,
The present moment.
None of us know of tomorrow despite planning for it.
When we spend today worrying about tomorrow we lose the now.
When we spend today hurting from what happened yesterday we also lose the now.
So now you can see why we need to embrace the now,
The present moment and bring all we can to the present.
They say the future is promised to no one and this indeed is true.
The universe has everything exactly where it is meant to be,
Even those things we think might not be fair or right.
They all happen for a reason.
If you're having a challenging time trying to get through the world's current events it helps to focus on the present instead of what happened yesterday or last week or stressing about what tomorrow might bring.
You might also find it difficult to celebrate anything in life during such a challenging time but each day you wake is one to rejoice and celebrate,
To inject joy and love and happiness into your heart.
This will get you through your toughest times when you let go of the future and past and embrace the now.
Give yourself permission to feel whatever is coming up for you,
Let the energy flow as it needs to from moment to moment.
Don't judge how you feel or try to suppress it,
Just let it out.
You might like to journal what comes up for you,
What you're feeling and what it means to you.
This can be a great release and motivation in moving forward.
As you embrace the now,
Be kind to yourself.
You need your own love now more than ever.
Understand that you are a miracle,
A divine being who needs to be treated as the wonder they are.
Embrace all that you are as you embrace the now.
