Settle yourself in a space where you can have some peace and quiet.
Undisturbed,
Just to meditate and connect with yourself.
Make yourself comfortable and relax into where you are,
Whether sitting up or lying down.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let your shoulders drop and your neck and spine relax.
Let your limbs just relax and release any tension by taking another deep breath and release any stress or worries you might be holding onto.
Give yourself the space now to let go of any random thoughts as you go on your inner journey to self-acceptance and worthiness.
Now imagine yourself floating gently down a river on a raft.
The current is gentle.
You can hear the water running gently.
The birds are singing.
The sun is shining.
And you feel its warmth on your skin.
As you float along,
Your mind starts to wander.
And you find yourself in negative thought loops about yourself and who you are.
Somehow this is familiar territory for you.
And as you do this,
The raft changes direction into a stronger current,
Pulling you towards dangerous rapids and rocks.
Instead of panicking,
You decide to recognize those negative thoughts,
Understand them and that they are not yours and release them into those rapids.
As you consciously let go of the negative thoughts about you and who you are,
The raft rides its direction back to calmer waters where you feel safe and secure.
As the raft gently floats,
You realize when you accept that you are worthy of love,
Worthy of kindness,
Worthy of care and attention,
The raft slows even further and the banks surrounding the river become a beautiful emerald green forest.
Know that when you take responsibility for the boundaries of firstly what you believe about yourself,
What your inner voice tells you,
Then others will follow your lead.
Listen to that inner voice and what it is telling you.
Sometimes the way we talk to ourselves we would never share with our worst enemy.
Have the respect for yourself to change that inner voice to one that you would rather hear from in a kind,
Loving way.
You have the power to change the current and direction of your raft at any time you need.
It takes practice to change that dialogue.
Make the decision now for your raft to continue floating through that emerald green forest where you understand you have standards of what you will and won't accept because you are worthy.
Repeat the mantra,
I am worthy,
To help you develop this habit.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Focus on your breath and as you do,
Start to move your fingers and toes and open your eyes,
Returning back to where you are.
You are worthy.
