You visualize your body being a tree, a strong and healthy tree taking energy from the earth and the sun, your mental and physical health will be strengthened. A tree's trunk is strengthened by storms and wind. These being like problems and struggles you experience in everyday life, making you stronger.

Sit in a comfortable position.

Your back is straight and your neck is straight.

Your view is straight on.

Close your eyes.

Breathe in a calm and soft way.

Breathe in deeply and breathe out calm and peaceful.

From all parts of the body touching the ground there are roots stretching deep into the soil,

Deep into the earth.

By these roots you are nourished with energy.

Your body and mind is gaining new energy from these roots.

By each inhalation new energy is entering your body.

Your upper body is like the trunk of a tree,

A huge big and strong one.

The energy from the roots reach up to your body,

To your upper body.

With each inhalation you are taking up new energy from your roots to your upper body,

The trunk of the tree up to your head,

Which is like the crown of a huge tree.

This tree has got long and wide branches with huge leaves soaking up the energy and warmth from the sun and the air.

You are now fed with energy and warmth from the crown of your head and also the roots.

The trunk is getting stronger and stronger with each inhalation.

Just like strong wind or a storm strengthen the trunk of the tree and the crown of the tree and its roots.

So do problems in everyday life strengthen you,

Your body and mind.

Breathe slowly,

Calm and peaceful.

Breathe in deeply to the lower dantiem about two fingers widths below the navel.

With each inhalation you take up new energy,

With each exhalation you send peacefulness to the earth.

Breathe in to the middle dantian to the solar plexus.

With each inhalation you take up new energy and by each exhalation you send strength,

Peace and calmness.

Now breathe in the upper dantian,

The part between the eyebrows.

Inhaling you gain new energy,

Exhaling there is more clearliness,

More focus and strength.

Breathe in.

You are a huge and strong tree,

Being nourished by mother earth and the sun and strengthened by everyday storms.

Breathe slow and peaceful.

Breathe in.

By a long and peaceful exhalation we finish this meditation.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.
