Sit or lay quietly,

Comfortably in a cozy space.

Begin to take deep breaths.

Each breath allows you to become more calm and more comfortable.

Let each breath be long and allow you to breathe in deeply.

Allowing your breath to move in and out,

Bringing flow throughout your entire being.

In this space you are deeply connected to your body,

Deeply aware of your soul.

You are deepening your connection to your mind.

With each breath connecting to the body,

The soul and the mind.

Breathing in harmony with the body,

With the breath.

Allowing you to give and receive messages of hope and healing today.

Now,

Imagine in your mind a beautiful space that represents the holidays for you.

What does this space look like?

Are you inside or outside?

Is it light or dark?

Are you alone or with others?

What does this space feel like?

Warm or cool?

Cozy or spacious?

A party or peaceful?

What does this space sound like?

Quiet or filled with holiday sounds?

What do you smell in this space?

Holiday food or holiday smells?

Be there in this space,

In this place.

And notice as you make your way to a quiet space all on your own,

Be there with yourself apart from the hustle and bustle of the holiday festivities.

Create this space.

Be in this place.

So that you can make some time to notice what's going on inside of you.

Take a few deep breaths.

Notice if there is anything underneath the holiday happiness that is hidden from your view.

Take a deep breath and let your body show what it is for you.

Begin to feel and notice what's holding you back from feeling the full holiday happiness.

Let the body start to show where you're feeling this.

Let the body start to grow this feeling inside.

Let this feeling have a place.

Give this feeling a space to be seen,

Heard and felt.

What is it?

Can you label this feeling?

Maybe it's pain,

Maybe sadness,

Anger,

Hurt or fear or something else filling inside of you.

Recognize this feeling now.

It is okay that you feel this.

It's okay that you have felt this.

Recognize it now.

Remember this feeling.

Is there anything you want to remember about this feeling?

Remember it now.

Release this feeling.

Are you ready to release this feeling?

Feeling onto it is heavy and you're ready to feel lighter and brighter.

Take a few deep breaths and feel the release that comes as you gather the breath around this feeling,

Letting go,

Breathing out,

Releasing,

Feeling the release of this feeling moving out of you and up into the sky of a twinkly starry night.

Breathe and release.

Now open yourself to receive a new feeling,

Filling that space with lighter and brighter feelings.

Let the light of the season settle into your soul.

Fill the hole where the heaviness was with light.

Feel that light gently move into you like the sparkling lights of the holiday,

Reminding you to light within.

Light the soul.

Feel that renewal.

Feel this every time you see holiday lights or sparkling stars.

Remember that your soul shines brightly with divine light and love.

Love that emanates to you and through you for all time and always.

Notice this light growing.

Notice the light growing within you.

Notice your glowing begin as you begin to brighten,

Enlighten.

Notice love,

Peace and joy that fills the space of your soul.

You are open to this light.

Let it into every space.

Let every space of your body that is in need of love,

Peace and joy of the season be filled.

Let your light shine within and spread to others in this holiday season.

One last thing before you go,

As you fill your heart with hope,

Bring your awareness to the room and imagine in front of you a beautifully wrapped gift left for you to remember this moment.

Go pick it up.

Receive it with joy and gratitude.

Your gift will serve as a reminder for what you discovered today.

It will be a symbol to bring you back to the memory of this moment,

To help you recall this love,

Peace and feel that hope and happiness of the holidays and every day.
