Every day, we grow and every day we are presented with the opportunity to extend our comfort zone. As you reach the edge of your comfort zone, you may feel you have hit a limit. Some of these limits are more challenging than others. This meditation was created to help you gently bring into your awareness the thoughts, beliefs and energy that are holding you in place. You will be gently supported to release these and feel the freedom of moving beyond.

As we grow and evolve,

We will regularly meet our own upper limits.

We can move beyond them,

But in order to do so,

There are beliefs and thoughts that we need to release.

And this release needs to be intentionally and consciously made on every level of our being.

This meditation came to me when I hit an upper limit of my own,

And I was called to share it to support others in invoking the transformation that will allow them to move to their next stage of growth.

In this meditation,

The dodecahedron plays a central role.

If you cannot visualise the shape,

You can choose to do a search for the shape before you begin,

Or allow your own shape to take the centre of the stage in the meditation.

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down,

And close your eyes.

Begin to take some nice deep breaths.

As you breathe in,

Let the breath fill your body and travel to every cell.

As you exhale through your mouth,

Allow any thoughts and feelings that have no place in this present moment to move on and out of your energy field.

On your next breath,

Imagine breathing in through your heart space in the centre of your chest.

Draw the breath in through that space.

Allow it to fill your heart space and expand it.

And as you exhale,

Let any energy that feels out of place in time be released.

On your next inhale,

Draw the breath in through your heart space and down through your body,

Through your energy centres and out of your feet.

Keep taking it down into the earth about 18 inches below your feet to your earth star chakra.

Let the breath fill the energy centre,

Infusing it with light and movement.

As you exhale,

Release any energy that does not have a place and draw it back up through the body and out of your mouth.

On your next breath,

Draw the breath in through your heart and now up through your energy centres.

Past your crown chakra and up to your soul star chakra,

About 18 inches above your crown.

Again,

Let the breath fill the energy centre with light and movement.

And as you exhale,

Release any energy that does not have a place and draw it back down through the body and exhale through your mouth.

You should now feel anchored and in the present,

But should you feel that you still need to settle,

Simply repeat the breathing pattern until you are ready.

You find yourself now in a sacred,

Intimate space.

It is relaxed and you feel safe.

Take a moment to be aware of your surroundings,

The details,

How you are feeling and whatever comes to you.

And when you are ready,

Invite your higher self to join you in this space.

When you can see or feel their presence,

You can now also extend the invitation to both your ego and your shadow,

Asking them to join you in a circle.

When you feel their presence,

You will see that a dodecahedron has appeared in the centre of the circle.

Take a moment to just feel present and settled in the circle.

The dodecahedron is here to receive the thoughts,

Beliefs and energy that are holding you in your current place in reality.

As you feel its presence,

Allow anything that comes to you that you feel is part of a pattern of holding you back,

Just simply to come into your awareness.

Without any judgement,

Simply observe what comes to you.

It may be one thing,

There may be a number of things that come to you.

Simply witness them.

And when you feel you have gathered all that you are ready to release,

Declare that you are ready to move beyond your current reality.

Declare that you are ready to release these from your energy,

Your mental and physical bodies.

If you feel called to,

Address this declaration to your ego,

Your shadow or your higher self.

And as you declare it,

Allow the energy to move into the dodecahedron.

Observe its movement.

And when you feel that the dodecahedron has received all of the energy,

I invite you to invite your ego and your shadow to release anything that they no longer wish or need to carry.

Without judgement,

Simply observe or sense this energy as it moves into the dodecahedron.

When you feel that all the energy you need to release is present in the dodecahedron,

Invoke support from the higher realms to transform and transmute this energy.

Accept whoever shows up for you as your guide or guides in this process.

And allow the transmutation to proceed as it needs to.

When the energy has run,

Begin to breathe consciousness back into your body.

Allow the deep breaths to bring you back into awareness of your surroundings and your physical body.

You may feel called to begin to move your body,

To bring it back into the present moment.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Now note how you feel,

What you feel has shifted and what you now feel empowered to do.

Intense and phenomenal. I’m a little overwhelmed right now, in the best possible way. I did pause the recording a few times so I could luxuriate in the visualizations, and I did 15 sec rewinds too. I took charge of the pacing, and made this into a rich experience closer to 20 min. Let’s just say the visualizations ended with my doing 12 cartwheels… seriously. 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️I’m eager to start afresh with new horizons! 🙏✨🙏💚 12/2024 - revisiting this meditation on a rainy morning, taking it sloooow.. What a joyful experience. Bringing in my guides, higher self, ego and shadow self became a wisdom council. At the end the dodecahedron was launched into the sky with our limitation energies, and it burst into light like a firework. Wow. 🌟Thank you, Polly!

A powerful, evocative exercise. Definitely not for total beginners; get a little experience with both meditation and guided visualization and then check back. You’ll also need a basic grasp of the ego and shadow self. (You’re told you need to know what a dodecahedron looks like, but I suspect you can also work with any 3-dimensional form that comes to you, from an orb or cube to a blob.) Pro Tip / Note to Self: You’re invited to either sit or lie down, but much of the imagery is strongly vertical (things flowing DOWN through your feet or UP above your head). On my first listen I chose to be horizontal and soon found it a little too confusing/difficult to follow the instructions (unless I envisioned myself standing up). I’d recommend either sitting or even standing instead—having your feet on the floor and your torso and head aligned above them is more important here than in many exercises. Note: No clear signal that recording is ending, if you need that sort of thing.
