When you feel comfortable and ready,
I invite you to softly close down your eyes,
Taking in a deep breath,
Gently releasing the breath,
Emptying the lungs completely.
Notice your surroundings,
The chair beneath you,
Your feet making contact with the floor,
Perhaps the cozy blanket you have covering your body.
Notice where your body is in this moment.
Notice where you are.
Quieting,
Relaxing the mind as best as possible.
Have you ever wondered,
How many problems do I truly have in a day?
Real problems,
Not problems created by the mind with thought,
But true problems that need fixing,
Adjusting,
Tending to.
When I ask myself this question,
I find I have very few problems,
If any at all,
In any given day.
Real problems,
Like tending to a crying child,
Fixing a flat tire,
Tending to a health issue,
Or some sort of crisis at work.
How often do we need to tend to real problems versus problems created by the mind?
Hopefully,
You are in a quiet,
Safe space as you listen to this meditation.
In this moment,
There is no problem.
I am here.
You are there.
We are safe.
We are secure.
We are comfortable.
There is no problem.
There are no problems,
Here and now.
I invite you to be with this question.
Inquire the next time you think or feel like there is a problem.
Is it truly a problem?
Is it real?
Does it need tending to,
Right now,
In this moment?
I will leave you with a quote by Byron Katie.
Other than what you are thinking and believing in any given situation,
Are you okay?
Many blessings.
Peace,
Love,
And light.
Namaste.
