Good morning sunshine,
I hope you had a peaceful night's rest,
Allowing your body to be as comfortable as possible,
No particular position,
Just comfortable.
Now,
Take in a deep breath through your nose.
Feel the air entering your nostrils,
Your chest expand,
Perhaps even your belly expand.
Fill your lungs completely,
Holding at the top for a moment and slowly releasing through the nose.
Can you sense the air leaving the nostrils?
Can you sense your chest and belly relaxing,
Deflating like a balloon?
Sit here for a moment,
Aware of all these different sensations,
Simply from breathing.
Allow the body to return to its natural breath,
The in and the out.
Notice if it is short,
Shallow,
Slow,
Relaxed,
Or perhaps it is deep,
Extended,
Slightly quick,
Just notice,
Breathe.
If it is slightly quick,
Are you able to slow it down a little,
Relaxing the mind,
Relaxing the muscles of your face,
Your neck,
And shoulders,
Allowing the body to breathe naturally,
No holding,
No forcing,
Uninhibited.
Again,
Notice how this feels.
Take in one more deep breath as we begin to prepare for the day ahead.
Perhaps on the exhale,
Letting out a good sigh,
Allowing the shoulders to release and relax.
Become aware of the life force energy so vibrantly flowing throughout your body,
As a result of conscious breathing.
