Transcript

Settling into bed.

.

.

Making yourself as comfortable as possible.

.

.

Covering your body with a soft blanket or two.

.

.

Perhaps even a weighted blanket for added safety,

Security.

.

.

Adjusting your pillow or multiple pillows until they are just right.

.

.

Perfectly supporting your head,

Neck,

And shoulders.

.

.

Softly closing down your eyes.

.

.

I welcome you to take a deep breath.

.

.

Letting go of as much mental noise as possible.

.

.

Thoughts of the day.

.

.

What you should have done or shouldn't have done.

.

.

What you said or shouldn't have said.

.

.

Thoughts about tomorrow.

.

.

What needs to be done.

.

.

Where you have to go.

.

.

All that you perceive has to be done.

.

.

Letting go of thoughts like.

.

.

Will I be able to sleep tonight?

I wonder what kind of night's sleep I will get tonight.

.

.

I can't sleep.

.

.

I won't be able to sleep with how I am feeling and all that is on my mind.

.

.

Let this all go.

.

.

I give you permission to let all of these thoughts go.

.

.

Place your attention on your breath.

.

.

In your body.

.

.

On my voice.

.

.

Feel the safety.

.

.

The comfort of your bed supporting you.

.

.

Protecting you.

.

.

In this moment,

You are safe.

.

.

Secure.

.

.

It is safe to let go of thinking.

.

.

Allowing your mind and body to surrender completely into a sweet,

Sweet night's rest.

.

.

Feel the softness of the blankets on and around you.

.

.

Creating a nest of safety and comfort.

.

.

Your body is protected.

.

.

You are okay.

.

.

Feel the softness of the pillow beneath your head.

.

.

Providing comfort and support to your head.

.

.

Neck.

.

.

And shoulders.

.

.

Perhaps if you are laying on your back.

.

.

One or both hands are resting gently on your abdomen.

.

.

Feeling the rise and fall of your belly with each in-breath and each out-breath.

.

.

It is safe to let go.

.

.

It is okay to give your mind and body the gift of rest.

.

.

Allow your breath to slow a little.

.

.

Relax the breath.

.

.

It is signaling to your mind and body that you are safe.

.

.

And that it is time for sleep.

.

.

The room you are in is dark.

.

.

With no hints of light sneaking in.

.

.

It is the perfect temperature for you.

.

.

You've settled into the bed quietly.

.

.

Gently.

.

.

Comfortably.

.

.

Peacefully.

.

.

In this moment,

All is well.

.

.

Nothing needs fixing.

.

.

Adjusting.

.

.

Or tending to.

.

.

It can all wait until tomorrow.

.

.

In this complete acceptance and surrender.

.

.

You begin to feel your mind release.

.

.

And your body get heavy.

.

.

Drifting off to sleep.

.

.

Off to the sweetest,

Sweetest night's sleep.

.

.

Good night,

Sweetheart.

.

.

Sweet dreams.

.

.
