We all hold various stories about ourselves that we more or less believe. These narratives from the past have the power to define your present, thus creating ground for your future. In session 6 of 6 you can ask questions and reflect about your next steps.

Hello and welcome to the sixth and last session of the What's Your Story course.

I'm extremely grateful that you followed the journey,

The storytelling journey,

We might as well say,

During those six sessions.

And very grateful also for all the contributions that I have received.

There is still an option for you to make a donation contribution by pushing the button in the app or online.

The proceeds from the donations,

I'm using them for further development,

Means that mostly as donations to my teachers.

And part of the proceeds are used by the Insight Timer company to develop new solutions so that more and better content can be provided to a larger number of people.

Thank you for that.

Today will be a rather short recap of what we've done.

We have had a look at your story,

Your stories that you are telling about yourself and about life,

To yourself and to others.

And how those stories define your present moment.

And by defining your present moment also to a great extent defining your future.

We've had a look at a few tools that can actually help you to break that rule and stop the past stories or past experiences that create your current story from defining your future.

And this is of course a matter of practice.

And practice means repeating.

So I'd very much suggest for you to go back to the previous sessions and train a little bit more.

Not only while listening to the sessions but also,

You know,

As you go throughout your day so that you take the practices to your daily life.

It requires a lot of patience.

And I have this great quote that I love by my mashaadron which is about patience.

And she says,

The journey of patience involves relaxing,

Opening to what's happening,

Experiencing a sense of wonder.

And I totally love it.

Why?

Because,

Of course.

It's a huge challenge for myself as well to be patient and see everything that is coming into my way as providing me a sense of wonder.

But if you just briefly close your eyes and I will read the quote again and see how it lands.

The journey of patience involves relaxing,

Opening to what's happening,

Experiencing a sense of wonder.

I think Pema's words summarize very nicely also what we have talked and practiced during this course which is providing space for whatever you are sitting with.

For whatever is turning up in your world,

Whatever stories and narratives,

Experiences these are.

And giving them the space.

Holding them for a while.

Not fighting,

Really.

And moving on with your life.

Letting the future unravel independently of whatever from your past might be holding you stuck.

I'd be super happy if in the comments here in this course you could post any questions or reflections that you have regarding the course and the content.

I will take the time to read through your notes and if there will be questions I can answer them,

Of course.

But I'm also happy for your reflections,

Insights,

Success stories,

Not so successful stories,

Whatever that might be that comes up for you now that we're sitting here together.

I would also like to thank you very much for your time and all the effort that you have put into our relationship.

It's been amazing to meet you.

I've really loved spending my time with you.

I hope that we will be able to meet maybe in another course or during some of my live events.

You can get your notifications about my live events if you go onto my profile and click on that little bell icon.

Which means that you will be receiving notifications.

I'm currently having weekly live events of about 10-15 minutes.

So I'd be very much looking forward to deepening our relationship during those events.

And I very much hope that the story that you're currently writing is a story that you will benefit from as much as possible.

Because you deserve it.

Thank you so much and hope to hear from you.

Bye!
