This is a very simple and easy breathing technique to bring instant calm. It can be done anywhere, at any time, and in any position. After one breath you will feel it, after 3 you will feel it even more. If practiced for 5 minutes the stress-busting qualities of this breath will last for hours.

Welcome.

I'm going to teach you a very simple breathing technique to bring you instant calm,

Even after just one breath.

It's called a physiological sigh.

So it's going to be a long,

Slow breath in through the nose.

Once your lungs are full,

You take a sniff at the top.

And then we'll slowly,

Slowly exhale out through the mouth in a sigh.

So take a breath in and exhale that breath completely.

Then take a long breath in through the nose,

Filling the lungs.

Take that sniff at the top.

And then sigh the breath out slowly through the mouth.

And again,

Inhale.

Sniff.

And release the breath in a sigh.

Take another long breath in.

Sniff.

And release the breath.

Just notice how you feel.

Do you sense any changes?

Yes.

And the beauty of this breath is that you can do it at any time,

Anywhere.

You can do one.

You can do three.

You could even practice this breath continuously for five minutes.

And it gives instant calm,

But when you practice that for five minutes a day,

That sense of calmness is going to stay with you.

That will last for 24 hours.

So practicing this breath for five minutes every day can really bring a relief of stress.

Thank you for allowing me to teach you and guide you through the physiological sigh.

Excellent breathing method... one I've obviously never heard of, but it works wonders and I do feel much more relaxed after doing this breath only three times. Kudos to you.
