Welcome to this presencing practice.
My name is Patrick Christoph Eiler and I'm your instructor for today.
Before we start to deepen presence with this practice,
Let's arrive.
Take a deep breath with me,
A deep inhale and a long gentle exhale.
Be curious with the next inhale and check if there is any tension in your body.
Also check how you are sitting currently and try to arch your spine a little,
Sit straight.
Or find a position that's comfortable and where you can also feel focused.
Do another short check in if there is any tension in your body.
And with the next exhale let the tension ease a little.
Another inhale and with the exhale a little more easing.
If you haven't yet,
Now it's a good moment to close your eyes and take your right hand into your left hand.
And now stroke your left hand with your right hand a little.
And be curious if you can feel a tingling or any kind of feeling in your left hand if you stop stroking.
Focus on every finger.
Compare it again,
Stroke and check in where you feel it most vividly.
And then stop stroking and just feel the presence in your hand.
And while you feel the presence in your hand,
Do a little check in.
While you feel your hand,
While you are present,
Do you actively think about your name?
While you feel your hand,
Do you actively think about where you currently are?
While you feel your hand,
Do you actively think about anything that ever happened in the past or might happen in the future?
While you feel your hand,
Where are you with your attention?
While you are feeling your hand,
Is there any thought?
And if you feel like to deepen the presence a little in your left hand,
Then use your right hand to stroke again your left hand.
And to end the short practice for the next minute,
Take your right hand and put it on your chest,
On your heart.
And let's send some kind wishes.
And while you send those kind wishes towards yourself,
Those compassionate wishes,
Try to feel how they expand from your heart into every cell of your being.
May I be present.
May I be at home within myself.
May I be loved.
May I be cared for.
May I be kind.
May I be well.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be at peace.
And feel how those wishes expand from your heart into every cell of your being.
Take a deep inhale with me and a long,
Soft and gentle exhale.
Bring your attention back into your full body,
Into the room.
