My name is Patricia and I'm very happy to be able to share this space and energy with you today in our grounding practice.
Grounding is essential for everyone,
Especially when we are facing a lot of stress or anxiety or tension in our day,
We want to ground to connect us back with our body and to the present moment.
So let's start in a comfortable seated position,
Preferably with your palms on your lap and soles of your feet on the ground.
Start to connect your body with the contact points.
Maybe your body to the chair you're sitting on,
Your back to the wall behind you and the soles of your feet with the floor underneath you.
Feel supported by gravity pulling you down and let your body relax without any resistance.
Let's start with box breathing.
Let's seal our lips.
Inhale in from your nose.
Exhale out from your nose.
One more time,
Inhale in from your nose.
Slowly exhale out from your nose.
Now we're going to start our counted breaths.
Let's inhale in for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Pause for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Exhale out for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Hold that empty space for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Let's inhale in again for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Hold it there for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Exhale out for 4,
3,

1.
Hold it empty for 4,
3,

One more time,
Inhale in.
Pause.
Exhale out.
Pause.
And slowly let's return to our normal breathing pace.
Inhale in and exhale out passively from our nose.
Now let's start our grounding practice with some visualization.
Imagine yourself being an old tree.
Imagine being big,
Tall,
And strong,
Strong roots,
Your roots penetrating down the ground,
Down the soil.
And feel your roots reaching,
Reaching down,
Passing through the hidden rivers,
Hidden minerals,
Hidden treasures,
And this earth,
Down,
Down,
Down,
Until it reaches the source.
The source of Mother Earth,
Of Gaia.
The source of energy,
This huge golden ball in the center of the earth.
It's glowing a bright yellow light.
And connect yourself with this.
Feel your roots engulfing and spreading throughout the surface of this ball.
Slowly absorbing this everlasting minerals,
Energies,
And high vibration.
As you inhale in,
See yourself pull,
Pull,
Pull,
These minerals,
Energies,
Up from your roots,
To your body,
To your trunk.
As you do this,
Feel up your body with this energy.
Feel this energy really go up your spine towards your crown chakra at the top of your head and spreading up and outwards,
Sending out love,
Sending out high vibration and positive energy.
Keep on visualizing this,
Immersing in this connection between you and this deep earth space.
You can even try to press the soles of your feet against the floor even deeper,
To really ground down and stay in this present moment.
Imagine your spine as a chunk of this tall and wise tree,
Bringing this energy again to every part of your body,
Your arms,
Your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your neck,
Your head,
And again your crown,
Outside and beyond your physical body.
Still keeping a passive inhale and exhale as you draw this strong connection between you and our earth.
Now you can thank Mother Earth for sharing her loving energy with you.
Press your gratitude whisper,
Thank you.
Take your time here.
As you slowly deepen your inhale in and exhale out,
Slowly wiggling your fingertips,
Rotating your wrists,
Wiggling your toes and rotating your ankles,
Coming back to the present moment.
Now together let's take one deep inhale to deep breath you've taken all day today.
Hold it there for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1 and then exhale it all out from your mouth release,
Release,
Release.
At the end of your exhale or whenever you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and return back to the present moment.
Noticing your surrounding coming back to this moment today.
You can also invite some small movements before you proceed throughout your day.
