Welcome to today's short Conscious Connected Breathwork session.

This is a session of allowing and welcoming all feelings.

So today you're invited into a space of deep inner permission.

And that's permission to feel,

Permission to soften,

Permission to allow whatever's here without resistance and without story.

So let's begin by settling into the body.

Find a position that supports your relaxation and openness.

Lying down is usually best,

But seated upright is also fine.

That's what your body needs today.

Let your arms and legs rest in a natural position.

If it's comfortable,

Allow your eyes to gently close and begin to bring your attention inward.

Notice the places where your body meets the ground and feel the support beneath you.

This support beneath you is always here,

Just like your breath.

Take a slow inhale through your nose and a long,

Gentle sigh through your mouth.

Again,

Breathe in and exhale,

Allowing your system to begin to downshift.

In this journey,

We'll be using conscious,

Connected breathing,

So breathing in and out through the mouth with no pauses between inhale and exhale.

The inhale is a gentle invitation and the exhale,

A surrender.

So we'll be allowing the breath to move into one continuous wave,

Circular,

Fluid,

Relaxed.

Let it carry you deeper into your body,

Into sensation and into truth.

So gently opening the mouth if that feels okay for you,

And let's begin inhaling through the mouth,

Exhaling through the mouth,

Inhaling through the mouth,

Exhaling through the mouth.

No rush,

No force.

Allowing the rhythm to be soft and connected,

And let it feel nourishing today and not demanding.

And with each breath,

Open to whatever is here,

Knowing that there's nothing to fix today and nothing to get rid of.

This is the art of allowing and meeting life as it is within you.

You might feel tension.

You might feel emotion.

You might feel numbness.

Everything is welcome.

Stay with your breath.

As you inhale,

Maybe saying,

I allow.

On the exhale,

I let be.

Inhale,

I allow.

Exhale,

I let be.

As you breathe,

Notice what's rising.

Do any sensations call for your attention?

Is there any particular feeling present?

Anger,

Sadness,

Grief,

Joy,

Anxiety,

Stillness?

Whatever's here,

Let it be here.

Don't turn away.

Don't hold your breath.

Let the breath open the doors to your experience.

And allowing doesn't mean liking.

It means saying yes to reality.

Keep breathing.

The wave continues in and out.

If there's a tight place in the body,

Breathe into that space.

Not to force it to open,

But to befriend it.

Let the breath touch it with care.

Imagine the breath like warm light flowing to that place.

And you might say silently,

It's okay to feel this.

And this too belongs.

Even the resistance is allowed.

Even the mind's chatter is allowed.

You're not here to silence yourself.

You're here to hear yourself.

And sometimes the breath may begin to stir emotion.

And that's okay.

Let the energy rise.

Let tears come if they want to.

Let sound move through you if it wants to.

Really allowing yourself space for whatever's here.

Allowing the breath to carry the stuckness out.

Allowing the breath to make space.

Each breath is an act of compassion.

Each breath is a reminder that there's room for all of me here.

Keep going,

Knowing you're doing beautifully here.

Forget about getting it perfect.

And just stay with the breath as best you can.

Honoring your own pace,

Knowing that if you need to return to a softer rhythm,

That's okay.

You may feel things shift.

Maybe tightness dissolving or emotion softening.

Let it unfold.

Don't rush the process.

This is sacred work.

Inhale.

Exhale.

I surrender.

And now begin to let go of the active breath.

Allowing the breath to return to its natural rhythm,

You might close the mouth.

The waves beginning to calm,

The breath slowing,

The body beginning to integrate.

Feel the residue of presence.

Notice how it feels to have allowed,

To have opened.

You have made space for your whole self.

And there's nothing here to figure out.

You've already done the deeper work and felt what needed to be felt.

So this is the medicine of allowing.

This is self-love in practice.

Begin to bring gentle movements back into the body,

Perhaps wiggling the fingers and toes.

You might roll the shoulders.

Stretch if you'd like.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Letting the light in slowly.

And take a moment to notice what's shifted.

Honoring whatever's moved or whatever's softened.

You are whole.

You are enough.

You're safe to feel.

Thank you for allowing.

Thank you for breathing.

And thank you for being here.

Thank you! I unconsciously went back to that shy little girl, that I have hindered myself so much by the influences of my direct environment that I now suffer so much from. I embrace myself in loving attention. I will get there thanks to this breathing exercise. 🙏🏻
