With the aim of breaking free from all kinds of unnecessary guilt that often comes with taking too much responsibility for all kinds of things,
Because you feel you are the one who has to take it on.
So often in life we feel guilty for no rational reason,
And we tend to cling to related negative thoughts and emotions,
And we don't need to feel or hold them.
And you would love to get rid of this burden that all too often weighs on your shoulders and restricts you from living life to the fullest.

Confident in yourself allowing you to set boundaries in a gentle but clear way.
Feeling too responsible which manifests itself,
For example,
In taking over or appropriating tasks and even emotions,
Mistakes and problems from others.
As a result,
You take on work or problems mainly to prevent others from being overburdened.
You take so much account of everything and everyone.
You're always there for everything and everyone,
Causing you to forget yourself from time to time and eventually exhaust yourself,
Which may even reduce your resistance and you struggle to fall asleep.
Because all that being ready for others around you and taking on their burdens weighs on your shoulders and it weighs on you.
And every time you had the courage to say no,
You felt guilty and thought you had let the other person down.
In all those moments you felt guilty for the inconvenience you thought you had caused.
You so easily assume you did or are doing something wrong.
It's all those triggers that can make you feel overloaded and overwhelmed.
And we both know it's better to distance yourself from those kinds of feelings.
To distance yourself from that idea on both a conscious and subconscious level.
Because you want to move through life much more freely,
With more lightness and a sense of peace.
Let's start with you lying down in a comfortable position.
In your bed or somewhere you feel comfortable.
And let both your body and mind relax.
Just let them relax in that safe and peaceful environment you are residing in right now.
Breathe calmly and deeply.
Just until your body is filled with air.
Hold it for a moment.
And then exhale at a gentle pace.
Repeat this two more times at your own pace.
And let all the tension in your body that you are still holding now release on the exhale.
Breathe in.
Hold it.
Exhale.
Breathe in.
Hold it.
One,
Two.
And exhale.
That's fine.
Just let your body sink into the mattress or the pleasant surface you're reclining on.
And if you still have your eyes open,
Close them gently.
Close your eyes and breathe calmly.
With each exhalation notice how the tension is released and gradually leaves your body.
Allow yourself to calm down.
Unwind.
And naturally enter the state of calmness and tranquility.
You're almost ready to embark on a journey of self-healing and self-acceptance.
Let go of all the guilt weighing on you,
Because they no longer serve a purpose in your life.
You're all set to let go of stress and worry.
Now that you are about to welcome more airiness and spontaneity into your daily life,
Breathe in through your nose and feel your belly rising as you fill your lungs with fresh oxygen.
Hold your breath for a few seconds and then exhale slowly through your mouth.
With each exhalation you release stress from your body and mind.
Continue with this calming breathing pattern.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Let your state of relaxation gradually increase.
With each breath you will notice that you're more relaxed and at ease.
And now as you allow your whole body to loosen up,
Making it feel heavier and heavier,
You will find that you are increasingly relaxed and at ease.
While feeling more and more distressed,
Worry-free and comfortable,
It randomly reminds you of a wonderful massage.
That wonderful feeling where your whole body undergoes warmth,
Well-being,
Intense care and comfort.
Imagine,
While you're already lying here so much more relaxed and blissful,
That you are about to undergo a special,
Very unique and refined facial massage,
Given by a pair of invisible,
Gentle and skillful hands.
This treat will begin within a short while and it starts by relaxing all those tiny,
Delicate muscles around your eyes so that the tension held there releases and melts away.
This is how you achieve the deepest possible state of relaxation.
Lower your jaw slightly so that both your jaw and your cheekbones already feel somewhat more relaxed.
You are aware of how this small adjustment already creates a little more relief.
I now invite you to shift your attention to your forehead,
To simply bring your attention to this spot.
Just release the tension,
The tension present there,
And notice how this release of tension sends relaxation through your whole body,
As if small,
Very subtle healing waves are moving through your body,
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
It just feels exquisite.
And imagine the feeling of a warm,
Soft,
Clean towel being gently placed around your head,
Neck and shoulders.
You might smell the freshness.
A freshly washed towel that has hung outside to dry on a line,
Held up by wooden clothes bags so the wind and warmth could do their work.
That's why the towel now feels so smooth,
Delicate and fresh.
Such a safe,
Secure feeling.
A feeling of being cared for.
It is wonderful to allow that to happen.
To let it happen,
Especially for you.
The feeling of being fully cared for.
A reassuring sense of comfort and well-being.
A soothing sense of ease and wellness.
And now,
Imagine your masseur gently,
Smoothly and tenderly beginning to massage the area around your eyes.
Slowly and gently.
You feel and follow the gentle touch as all those little muscles around your eyes are gently being massaged and gently stroked.
And notice how that relaxation spreads to the area between your eyes.
Soft,
Warm fingers slowly massage your forehead causing a deep sense of relaxation to spread.
And you allow it.
You let it go and complete surrender while breathing calmly.
You're aware that your breathing becomes ever quieter and more tranquil.
Both hands now treating the area around the temples.
Smoothly and gently.
And it's a blissful,
Pleasant feeling to get all that special attention.
To feel that you are well taken care of.
To feel the warmth and gentle touches.
Your cheekbones and jaw are now gently massaged with light caresses and soft circular motions.
It creates a deep sense of well-being within you.
A deep sense of relaxation is transmitted to your whole body.
And you become aware of this as the masseur lifts the hands and pauses for a moment.
Let the small waves of relaxation spread throughout your body causing you to sink further into relaxation.
All the way down.
And how wonderful it is to find that the skilled hands that offer you so much safety,
Relaxation and comfort now lovingly encompass and gently massage your head.
The feel of those gentle fingers going through your hair gently and subtly and slowly back and forth moving back and forth in the way you love and that relaxes you deeply.
All the way down.
Unwinding even more.
And it feels good and so at ease.
And the more you surrender and enjoy this special treatment the deeper you relax.
And the deeper you relax the more you surrender to that wonderful,
Peaceful feeling that this special massage offers you deeply absorbed in this beneficial,
Serene,
Peaceful calm.
And in a moment I will count down from ten all the way to zero and with each number I count down for you with each gentle,
Sweet caress through your hair you sink even deeper into relaxation so that by the time I reach zero you'll be more relaxed than ever.
Ten.
You allow yourself to relax more and more.
Nine.
Deeper and deeper as you feel the gentle,
Soothing massage movements going through your hair.
And eight.
That feeling of well-being.
This intensely beneficial feeling.
And realizing that.
Seven.
No one wanting anything from you.
No one expecting anything from you.
And six.
You don't have to do anything at all except relax.
Five.
Calmer and calmer.
And more and more relaxed.
And four.
Your breathing has slowed down and is becoming gradually slower and steadier.
Three.
Unwinding all the way down.
And two.
You feel languid,
Lazy and heavy.
And one.
Almost there.
At zero.
Utterly relaxed.
You've reached a blissful depth of relaxation.
And you allow your body and mind to drift further.
Drift away into this relaxed state.
A special,
Sublime,
Unique moment just for you to let go and release all tension.
Maybe you notice that your whole body feels heavy.
Perhaps you feel tingling in your hands and fingers.
This is quite normal and it's just a sign of how deeply relaxed you are.
And that's a lovely feeling,
Isn't it?
You've given yourself all the space you need.
The space where your unconscious mind and imagination can blossom.
And I ask you now to imagine yourself walking around in a lush forest.
You're enjoying nature and moving fluidly through all this splendour.
A backpack hangs around your shoulders and it's filled with what you will need later today.
You admire all the enchanting beauty.
The many shades of colour.
And all the magical wonders nature has created.
You breathe in the fresh air.
And the delicious,
Sweet smell of sap fills you with a sense of happiness.
It reminds you of all those times you've walked in the forest before.
And this memory now mingles with this moment.
And you become totally absorbed in it.
Surrendering to the sweet,
Relaxed tranquility that emanates from this.
It draws you into a more relaxed world.
That brings both your mind and your physique into the realm where inner peace resides within you.
As if this realm within you expands and you become inner peace.
Your all peace,
Tranquility and calmness.
And walking turns into strolling while you're still admiring all the beauty around you.
Eventually you reach a lake in the forest.
In the distance water flows from the rocks from an invisible spring.
And you decide to rest here and enjoy the gentle rustling of the wind.
The movement of leaves in the trees.
And the gentle splashing of falling water in the distance.
This environment breathes tranquility,
Breathes peace.
Just like you.
You take the bag of your shoulders and set it down beside you.
As if you were both resting at the water's edge.
And you allow yourself to be part of this serene peace.
That this environment exudes.
The serenity unfolds and develops within you.
And you radiate.
You immerse yourself in it.
Bathe it in serenity.
As if you were floating in it.
And the blissful feeling spreads.
And from this calm realm it's so much easier to look inward.
And review things that you want to change for the better.
From your own will.
To make the choice to change what's needed.
To experience more lightness and ease.
To sow and reap more grace in your life.
You recognize that it's commendable to be conscientious and caring.
But you also recognize that the weight of the world resting on your shoulders can be overwhelming and exhausting.
Perhaps you think and more or less automatically assume that the people around you are judging you.
But that's an illusion.
A creation of your own mind.
Just as guilt is usually a fruit of your own perception.
And this is completely separate from the reality of how others perceive you.
The truth is that people are usually preoccupied with their own lives and their own worries.
They too stand under pressure.
Their judgments are insignificant and as fleeting as a cloud driven by the wind to distant places.
Next to you rests the backpack.
Take a moment and visualize it quietly in your mind.
Imagine its size and color.
Slowly unzip the backpack.
And it's immediately clear to you.
So clear do you know now that its contents represent all the responsibilities and burdens that you carry with you.
The contents of the backpack.
You see that they are shaped like stones.
Beautiful stones admittedly.
They have the shape of all your good intentions,
Love and integrity.
But they are also heavy.
And you realize all too well that you have been carrying them with you for a long time.
And that this is the moment.
The time has come to give yourself every possible permission to let go of them.
To relieve yourself of them.
To also relieve yourself of the guilt associated with it that is part of the weight you've carried with you for so long.
Carried out of love and concern for others.
And in carrying have required a lot of strength from yourself.
It required a lot of effort.
And in a split second,
A flashback,
A kind of vision,
You see how in the past you put these responsibilities in your backpack.
And you now recognize that you are allowed to unburden yourself.
That others around you may carry their part.
You never have to do it alone.
And you are so ready to let go of things.
To take everything needed out of the backpack and release it.
Deep down,
You know and trust that others will carry the burden with you.
That the burdens will be shared.
You realize that when you go through life with less weight,
That the straps of the backpack will then feel much looser.
Feeling lighter when you have let go of weight and excess responsibility.
When you have put all this behind you,
By gently and carefully releasing responsibility,
Feelings and ideas of guilt,
One by one,
You can let go.
In this peaceful,
Beautiful,
Restful place,
You are able to look into the backpack and realize which stones symbolize responsibility and which stones symbolize guilt.
A weight you have held on to for too long.
You now acknowledge and recognize this and realize,
Consciously and subconsciously,
That this is exactly the right time to put them away and say goodbye to them.
To let go of them,
One by one.
You breathe in the fresh air and exhale calmly.
Filled within a knowing and relief.
And you know deep inside that you are doing the right thing to let go.
You already feel much lighter and take this with you into the future.
Your path through life is much lighter.
You enjoy and surrender to the sweet,
Relaxed calm.
The peace of knowing you are doing the right thing.
Quietly inhaling and exhaling.
It takes you to relaxed realms and takes both your body and mind to the space where inner peace takes root within yourself.
You are all peace,
Calm and tranquility.
You breathe in peace and breathe out peace.
Near you,
A little further down by the lake,
You notice a dam.
A dam made of stones,
Being constructed to channel the water.
So that the water takes a desired path and streams where it's needed.
A stream of water as a symbol of life that has the power to wash away all burdens and all negative emotions you've ever encountered along the way.
And you walk with your backpack to the dam in the making.
A dam that also marks a boundary to which you will add your boundaries.
You open your bag and the stones are revealed.
Carefully,
You take the stones one by one in your hands.
You are aware of the different textures,
How they feel in your bare hands.
And you are mindful of all the emotions involved.
And you look at the dam.
A boundary to keep nature in check and redirect the water.
A boundary you put on yourself to realign your habits.
To redirect these and lead yourself.
You lead yourself and set boundaries.
You dare to indicate your limits,
Show them where necessary.
Through which you create space for yourself and simultaneously for the other.
Creating space for awareness and for personal growth.
And you realize that you are creating space for yourself to respond more freely,
From harmony and balance.
And you pick up the first stone and place it on the dam with attention and reverence.
You see with satisfaction that it adds to the dam,
The boundary.
And you sense the relief and you move this burden.
When you release your burden,
You sigh with relief.
Positioning the stones one by one.
And fully allow yourself to experience the increasing sensation of lightness and freedom.
As you place the stones and you let go of all self-judgement.
And the more ballast you move and release,
The more sensation of intense happiness spread within you.
You quietly move these stones and reduce the burden.
Then silently listen to the following affirmations.
Knowing that your subconscious is picking up what you need and what appeals to you.
And taking its positive messages into the depths of a restful sleep.
You will soon encounter.
Let these affirmations sink into your subconscious with the aim of waking up with a renewed sense of self-worth and the lightness of being.
I choose to prioritize my well-being and happiness.
I let go of the need to be solely responsible.
I allow others to take their share of responsibility.
I trust their abilities and support them in their journeys.
I deserve rest,
Relaxation and self-care.
I am free to live without the weight of guilt and self-judgement.
I recognize that taking care of myself is essential to my overall well-being.
I am not defined by my responsibilities.
I am a whole person with unique gifts and talents.
I allow myself to pursue my passions and enjoy life to the fullest.
I deserve to enjoy my life without excessive burdens.
I let go of the guilt that pushes me down.
I let go of the belief that everyone is always judging me.
I trust my own worth and value.
I am worthy of love and acceptance the way I am.
At a very leisurely pace and with the utmost care,
You piled up the stones and built the dam.
By adding your bar to the boundary,
Your own boundaries have become much clearer.
It's so logical,
Uncomplicated and totally crystal clear to you.
You can sense the lightness in your body now that you are releasing all unnecessary responsibilities.
Noticing the sense of relief and freedom this gives you,
Become aware of the result of letting go of the burden of over-responsibility.
Allowing yourself to surrender completely to the present moment,
Knowing that you are enough just the way you are.
You walk back a few steps and admire the result of your own work on the dam,
Which made you work simultaneously on yourself,
Aligning your boundaries.
Satisfied,
Intimately satisfied,
You sit down on that beautiful resting place by the lake.
We can still hear the gentle splashing of falling water from afar.
Suddenly,
Between the clouds,
A gentle stream of healing light descends,
Flowing through your body from top to bottom.
A healing energy supporting you.
A beautiful stream of healing golden light shines above you,
That showers you with warmth and love.
The healing golden light represents the unconditional support of the Universe.
The healing golden light that reminds you that you are never alone in carrying all kinds of different weight in the world.
The healing golden light and your heart are in contact with each other.
And your heart radiates,
Spread the light that expands with every exhalation.
Receiving this light from above,
In contact with your heart and expanding,
Radiating into you.
It represents self-love,
Self-acceptance and forgiveness.
The light is all around you and it is within you,
Enveloping you with warmth and compassion.
And the light has a message for you.
It passes on the message of the Universe to you.
It lets you know that from now on you can choose to leave unnecessary burdens where they belong.
To let them go.
Letting you know that you can set healthy boundaries and leave things and tasks where they are.
The Universe is letting you know that you have all the wisdom and power to prioritize self-care and your own well-being.
It asks you to remember that your past actions belong to the past.
They do not define you.
Nor do the judgments of others define you.
You are so much more than that.
You possess the power and wisdom to release guilt.
Just let go of it.
You possess the power and wisdom to liberate yourself from the illusion,
The habit of constantly condemning yourself.
And you wholeheartedly accept the invitation of the Universe to embrace yourself and live from trust and freedom.
And from the healing golden light now arises a cloud.
A downy cloud in the most beautiful,
Brilliant white that you've ever seen.
It takes you to your sleep.
The place where you will dream sweetly.
The cloud envelops you and takes you away.
You float away to sleep.
Sleep calmly now.
Sleep peacefully.
Knowing that you're loved and accepted and liberated from guilt.
And that you will wake up tomorrow with a renewed sense of self,
Ready to face the world with joy and inner peace.
Confidently floating on this white,
Glittering cloud.
You grow sleepier and sleepier and drift away.
Full of confidence,
You fall into a deep,
Restful sleep.
Knowing that when you wake up tomorrow,
You will step into the day refreshed,
Rejuvenated and full of energy.
With the feeling and quiet strength to shape your life in balance and harmony.

Filled with the knowledge that you deserve love,
